Hampton Inn & Suites Charlotte Steele Creek

Right when my husband and I checked in to are room. It smelled so bad I couldn't be in there more than 5 minutes. The gentleman at the front desk tried to accommodate me but I'm just healing from 2 surgery's on my ankle which is why I requested the room with the roll in shower. We'll that room smelled horrible and the roll in shower was pretty dirty so he switched are room to one that had a walk in shower which wasn't any better since I couldn't get in or out of the shower without my husbamds help I find this very disrespectful towards myself and any other customers that have the inability to get around

The hotel main areas are well maintained. You could see where the tiles in the bathroom had previously had mold issues; the bathroom has a drain that reaked of sewage the last day; the grout on the bathroom floor was extremely dirty and when rubbing a towel on it yo clean up shower water you could see the dirt; the toilet seat isn’t a soft close; they need more bathroom hooks & handles. It needed to be better!!

The Staff here was very professional, welcoming and helpful! The property was very clean. The iron in the room was pouring water, but the engineer came to the rescue to resolve the situation immediately! This made a wonderful hospitality stay!

Good variety of breakfast options, fresh every morning. Staff is friendly and professional. Room was clean. Mattress was a bit hard.

I can’t say enough about this place. I stay here every time I come to Charlotte. The staff is tremendous.

The rooms are very spacious and clean. The downside is the hotel is right next to the highway. Ask for a room facing the opposite side, otherwise you'll hear the constant sound of trucks and cars on the highway.
