The thoughtfulness of the hostess to offer a warmwater bottle on a cold winter's evening, just added the extra touch to lovely stay. The breakfast was delicious and the overall experience was excellent.

⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ Exceptional Guesthouse Near Stellenbosch Wine Farms We had a fantastic stay at Baruch Guest House Rhodes and would highly recommend it to anyone visiting the Stellenbosch wine region. From the moment we arrived, the staff were warm, attentive, and incredibly professional. Check-in was seamless and we were very grateful to Janet for arranging an early check-in, which set the tone for the rest of our stay. The guesthouse itself is peaceful, intimate, and beautifully maintained. It’s perfectly located — quiet and relaxing, yet just a short drive from many of the best Stellenbosch wine farms. Breakfast each morning was excellent, with plenty of choice and very high quality ingredients. Another lovely touch was the personal mini bar in the room, which was generously stocked and frequently replenished. What really stood out was the level of service and attention to detail throughout the stay. Everything was run with real care and efficiency. In fact, the experience was so good that it may have ruined the Airbnb we stayed in afterwards in Cape Town! If you’re looking for a relaxing, high-quality guesthouse with outstanding service near the Stellenbosch wine farms, this is an excellent choice. Nothing could have been improved.

Me and a few colleagues stayed at the guest house on a work trip. The stay was comfortable and the breakfast was delicious. The dinners were unexpectedly delicious as well and we did not even want to go out to a restaurant. The fireplace in the dining room where there is a small lounge every evening was cozy and we enjoyed connecting. Although they did not have an electric blanket for the bed, they do provide a warm water bottle that helps with the cold and each room has an aircon. I will definitely recommend Baruch and will definitely ask to stay there again for work trips.

As I landed in Cape Town, I got an SMS from Baruch checking my ETA. I was happy to know I was in safe hands. At Baruch I got a warm welcome from Wendy. I was booked into the Mexican Room. It's clean and comfortable, I got the luxury of a pillow test, I loved mine but had the option to change. At breakfast I had the luxury of great food & conversation. It felt like home!

Beautiful setting and amazing garden. I travel a lot and this is the first time I have been offered a pillow station if my pillows were uncomfortable - this was really amazing. Staff was extremely friendly and helpful.

Beautiful and comfortable clean rooms. My room was very spacious and had everything I needed. You have a coffee machine in your room and a fridge stacked with water, cooldrink, etc. The bathroom had a spacious shower, double basins and a separate toilet facility. We also had a corporate supper which was very delicious and great portions. Included in the corporate supper were delicious pudding as well. The breakfast was really delicious, and the chef makes every plate to taste and look as it you were eating at a 5-star restaurant. The staff were very accommodating and friendly. It was a peaceful and quiet environment. The staff were friendly and their service level was of a very high standard. The room and premises are a kept clean and well maintained. My overall experience was very satisfactory. Thank you, Baruch Guest House.

Good hosts. Good food. Very hospitable. Will consider staying there everytime I come to visit Stellenbosch. Closer to the mall and the business district of the town. WiFi just didn't want to connect to my laptop, on my phone it was good.
