What a beautiful , relaxing place. The staff was so happy and friendly; the food beyond delicious; and so much to do. We cannot wait to go back.

The views are fantastic. However, the staff left something to be desired. It took an hour and 20 minutes to check in, I got sent to multiple rooms and none of the keys worked and finally had to wait for a maintenance guy with a master key to let me in and then wait in my room for another hour for a maintenance guy to come and finally get me a working key and my fireplace wasn’t working having paid extra for a room with a fireplace. So that required a different maintenance engineer visit to get that going. You’ve gotta walk a long way with your luggage from the parking area up and down a hill with minimal lighting in the middle of the night to get to the lodge with no signs. Even during the daytime, nobody offers to help help you with your bags or provide any help or service without you seeking it out. The spa was great though, clean, good massage, great hot tub and sauna.

My husband and I love Skamania Lodge! We got married here, so it's a very special place for us and we enjoy visiting from time to time. This was our first time going to the Waterleaf Spa for massages and it was one of the best massages of my life! The outdoor hot tub is glorious, too. The lobby and grounds are beautiful, the pool, spa, and fitness center amenities are very nice, and it's a peaceful environment with excellent staff. We always enjoy our stays here.

Pros: All around really nice staff , the indoor pool was really a hit with my kids! The food was good and had reasonable pricing considering there isn’t much else nearby to eat. The gym was also really nice! And they allow dogs! The building and location is beautiful and very kid friendly. I love the toy box outside in the grass area and the scavenger hunt that is offered near the coffee bar. Cons: I thought it was weird that they regularly don’t put out enough coffee at the coffee bar. The $15 per night parking fee was also unexpected and seems like a business tactic to keep their room prices artificially lower. And the double beds are really tight for families with small children that are sharing. Overall though i think the pros outweighed the cons, so we would definitely consider coming back.

We had a truly wonderful experience at Skamania Lodge. We stayed in the treehouse, and it was absolutely beautiful—very nice, cozy, and such a unique experience. We loved it. The restaurant service was excellent, and everyone we encountered was friendly and welcoming. The ladies at the gift shop were especially kind and helpful and did a great job. The spa and swimming pool area were also a highlight. LauraBeth, who works in that area, was incredibly kind, gentle, and helpful. She took the time to help me find directions and made the experience feel very welcoming. One of the biggest highlights of our stay was the zip line experience. The entire staff—from the front desk to the zip line team—was absolutely amazing. A special thank you to Tucker and Adrianna, who were outstanding. They were professional, kind, and incredibly supportive, guiding us step-by-step and making us feel comfortable throughout all seven zip lines. The zip line experience itself was truly exceptional and far beyond expectations. It’s nothing like you imagine until you’re there. We highly recommend everyone try it—it was thrilling, well organized, and unforgettable. Skamania Lodge truly goes above and beyond. We would absolutely return and highly recommend this experience to others.

Room was ok could be updated a bit and could hear a lot of noise through the walls. Property is beautiful and view is beautiful. Great outside hot tub and indoor pool And tub. I would not in the dining restaurant next time, food was great but not the best atmosphere. The river rock lodge is a much better atmosphere.

We liked the comfortable room and the plushy Sasquatch in it. The view was not good though. The food in the restaurant was actually really amazing, but the service was terrible. One of the servers composed we ordered lattes with our food that she would have to walk down the hall to get them, and she was really busy. We said no problem; we can go without. Then she came back and said she would go ahead and do it to make us happy and get a good tip, so we thanked her. But then she never brought them…. Weird! Our other server was sort of rude too, which is surprising and unusual for a high-end resort. We enjoyed the guy singing by the big windows in the evening, and we liked the outdoor fireplace. We were annoyed that they charged us $25 to park there. It is a huge lot, and we paid over $400 for 2 rooms, so forcing us to pay for parking was a blatant money grab because the lodge is in the middle of nowhere, so you have to drive there, and there is nowhere else to park. I’ve never had a remote lodge charge me to park, anywhere in the world, and I stay in lodges everywhere all the time. Pretty lame and just that cost you a star in my rating.

Staff was very accommodating. Room was clean but they could update bathroom. Hot tub and pool were awesome!
