"The room was not clean. Dust and particles from previous guest in the room. The restroom was not clean. We had to disinfect the room. The remote didn’t work and request were not met. The restaurant service was not good at all. The server spent the entire time we visisted at one table. I was double charged for breakfast. The phone number listed online and with my reservations does not work."

"I can't even give a proper review because I never received my room. They denied me a room upon check-in after I had already had a prepaid reservation booking. The reason is that they were "overbooked" and didn't have any staff to clean the rooms, so they said that they had 80+ dirty rooms. Many other guests who were also trying to check in experienced the same level of frustration. Additionally, the hotel staff had not informed me at all about this issue before my arrival, and I even tried calling before my arrival to see if they offered early check-ins, but no one had answered. To make things even worse, the two girls behind the counter who were handling the check-ins were laughing and giggling about the situation and at the customers' reactions, making jokes about them as I was being assisted, trying to be checked in. At the same time, these customers whom the staff girls were joking about were storming out or frustrated outside, trying to explain the situation to their families. In the end, I didn't receive a refund from the hotel, was denied a room, was not offered any compensation, and was consistently lied to by hotel staff over the phone for the next few days while I tried to receive a refund for the room/service that I had never received. All for an issue that was not in my control or my fault. In the end, it was sad, but I had to sleep in the car with my partner, instead of the room I had reserved and paid for weeks in advance for my one-night stay in Stockton. Not to mention, she was visiting Stockton for the first time, traveling all the way from Bakersfield just to see me, with the only day she had available this year because it was Memorial Day weekend, and this ruined the whole trip. I hope no one has to experience this lack of professionalism from this location."
