Antonio Garden Hotel

I have been a canceled flight, so Qatar Airways has taken the passengers to all cheap HOTELS avaliable . For my unluck we go to Antonio Garden, this is the worst place i have been in my inteir life , you could not call this a hotel , this like a motel third category , if you are not a little demanding so it is good for you , but if don t , Run away , at entery the room the smell blech was enormous , the interior i do not have words to describe. This is my testimony regarding my trips experiences .

Staff in restaurant and bar were great, shout out to Mary and Veronica, also lady behind bar, made excellent drinks. Also great value, nice setting with a pool. The room was huge, kitchen area, balcony, big bed, TV with UK channels and films, and very clean. Exceptional value for money would recommend. Bathroom was a bit hot, shower was not great. Bit dark in bathroom, no magnifying mirror.

Stayed two nights – I was a walk-in after the place I had booked turned out to be unacceptable. Great location in the center of Stone Town. Price on the high side for the local standard. The property is attractive and reasonably well maintained. Some noise from the inner courtyard, but it generally quiets down after hours. The room was clean and had a kitchenette. Amenities included an electric kettle and a bottle of drinking water. Overall comfortable bed and pillows (mattress a little too soft for my taste). Mosquito nets around bed. Light switch and power outlets near the bed. Bathroom with everything in working order. Shower with good water pressure (a rarity in East Africa) and hot water. Wifi worked reasonably well, apart from logging you out after a short period of inactivity and requiring repeat log ins. Breakfast with reasonable selection. Overall a good stay.

· -great location, in the center of Stone Town -restaurant in big garden and a big swimming pool -everyday cleaning, in the evening housekeeping goes to the room and provide a mosquito spray to the bed and curtains -in the room is everything: a wardrobe, safety box, tv, bed, table, a chair; spacious bathroom, there is even a small kitchen -friendly staff -good breakfast, we also have there dinner and they have delicious food and good prices at the restaurant :)
