Shoki Shoki House Stone Town Reviews

Shoki Shoki House was a great place to stay, though a bit tricky to find at first due to the nearby Shoki Shoki Hostel, which is different. The location is clean, room was spacious, and the staff were extremely helpful. I’d absolutely recommend it to anyone. It is very good value for money

Great location, interesting breakfast (albeit a la carte), classic design, attentive staff. Classic city hotel. For a relatively low price, quite acceptable. Recommended for accommodation

It's in a great location in the center of town. I was able to walk to anywhere in Stone Town. The room I stayed in had one queen-size bed. It was a room, but it had no windows and was very dark, so I don't recommend staying in the room during the day. I don't recommend staying in the room during the day. There was a turndown service, and they sprayed the room with nuts and insect repellent at night. Breakfast was included, but you could choose from three types, and it was very filling and very satisfying.

The location of the hotel is acceptable, the main value for money

Hat a wonderful welcome to Zanzibar and Stonetown: Location was perfect Staff were perfect especially young lady on reception. Very welcome and happy to assist in anyway she could. Room was perfect Breakfast was perfect Whole experience was top notch from start to finish.

Simply the best! Unique and lovely in every way! Only downfall was the WiFi but besides that location, people and food was excellent!

Just so you know there are two places with the same name one is a hostel (which we were taken to at first) the second is the hotel. Happy the receptionist was very nice and helpfull she answered all our questions and helped us book a taxi to the airport. Our room was on the main floor and was very dark as the windows have a very narrow view of the ally. The location of the hotel is great as you can walk anywhere and are very close to the beach and all the pedestrian roads. Breakfast was excellent as was the service.

The location is perfect , short walks to every amenities in Stone town. Beach and fantastic restaurants all a short stroll away.

Shoki Shoki was as promised and was a nice place to retreat to within Stone Town. The room was nice and the breakfast was very filling with plenty of variety provided. The staff were lovely and Marian on reception was exceptional, she gave detailed information upon arrival and was very helpful throughout, making us feel safe and welcome I would recommend for staying in Zanzibar Thanks Marian and team!

It's a lovely, small modest hotel with an attentive staff. Marion, Happy and Sauda make every effort to look after you. However, we were travelling to Machamvi and Omary, the hotel assigned driver, dumped us with a reckless, aggressive young driver, speeding over potholes, who spoke no English, who had no idea where our resort was, not to mention making unscheduled stops to pick up his wife and drop her off, stop to chat with another taxi driver in the middle of the trip and various other unscheduled stops. Proceed with caution when scheduling trips from the hotel .

I liked the hospitality of the team, the hotel was super clean and the service exceptional. The place shows culture in it's furniture design, decorations, staff dress code, and breakfast. The stable internet connection. Nutritious breakfast with upto three menu options and guidance where you don't understand well They offer all the best they can It was my haven.
