Stayed at Stow Lodge over the May bank holiday. This was our second time here. The room we had (5) really comfortable and lovely soft furnishings. The hotel is is right in the middle of stow. This is a family run hotel and the staff are really friendly and helpful. We ate in the restaurant every night and the food was superb, with a great selection, breakfast was really good as well. A big thank you to Debbie and Anthony who makes the most wonderful hot chocolate and is really funny, also to the sisters in the restaurant who were great. We have booked to come back next year. I think the owners should be really pleased with all the staff for doing such a great job. Many thanks to all the team for making our stay comfortable and memorable.

We stayed for two nights and it was excellent. The staff from the moment we arrived until we left were wonderful, so polite and helpful. The breakfast was very good and perfect service. We were meeting family so didn't have dinner at the hotel but the menu looked good and we will eat there when we visit in the future. The room was clean, tidy and very comfortable. We would highly recommend the hotel and want to say a big thank you to all the staff there.

Our first visit to this lovely Hotel 4/5/24.A very warm welcome from Lotti and other staff members. We stayed in room 17 which was up in the Eves as we had expected but hadn't imagined it would have been so cosy as it was..Immaculately clean and a view of the church. The Hotel is very well presented with every staff member so friendly with great sense of humours. You can clearly see its a well loved, family concern. The grounds are very well kept considering the awful weather we have had.The location is excellent a short stroll down the impressive drive and your in the Square. We are looking forward to re-booking this gem of a Hotel.Thank you guys for making our stay memorable.

This Hotel and their staff gave a first class customer service to my wife and I when we stayed here in April 2024 Facilities, food and cleanliness were top notch. Nothing was too much for any of the staff. The most relaxing stay we have had in a hotel for many years.

Lovely, friendly, cosy and welcoming hotel. The staff were excellent so helpful and accommodating. The food was lovely, the rooms were lovely I would highly recommend staying in this hotel. It is situated in the heart of Stow on The Wold with shops/restaurants/cafes nearby. The lounge was perfect to have a cuppa or glass of wine in very homely.

Stayed at stow lodge hotel Easter weekend, stayed in the coach house the room was nice and the hotel was very clean and ideally situated in the centre of stow, food was ok and the staff were lovely and very helpful, our stay was perfect until Easter Sunday when we booked a table for Sunday lunch when we went back to the hotel after a morning out to find that the hotel was packed with people who were not staying at the hotel, we understand that the hotel is open to non-residents for lunch but firstly we were unable to access the residents lounge as was full of people not staying at the hotel and when we went to be seated for lunch we were sat at a small table behind a door my husband asked could we have a different table to be told no, we ordered a roast dinner which arrived with one roast potato and a small amount of mashed potato £17 I did want to send the lunch back and leave but my husband asked me not to, the experience was upsetting as diners not staying there were seated at the best tables and using the facilities that we were paying for but we were unable to access, we did bring this up when we paid at end of stay but we were just told sorry it was Easter, safe to say we would not stay here again

Great hotel, old fashioned service with staff that really want to go that extra mile for their guests. Dropping in well before booking in time, in the hope of using the car park, we couldn't have been made more welcome to alleviate the massive congestion, I ventured forth to make the request. "Absolutely no problem" said the gentleman on duty. He then visited the rooms allocated to us, confirmed they were ready so booked us in early. My daughter in the main house and my wife and I in the Coach House annex. Perfect located in the centre of town with a large private car park means no crawling round streets in the search for a space. The hotel itself is out of yesteryear with very spacious accommodation. A residents lounge with plenty of large leather sofas & chairs and plenty of games/cards for times when weather can keep you indoors. Nice, well stocked bar with fairly reasonable prices which does encourage residents and public to take advantage of the facilities. 2 accommodation areas. The old house or the Coach House Annex, a set of rooms created within what I presume may have been the stable block. All furnished to a very high (classical) standard, again plenty of space unlike its more contemporary counterparts. The gardens were lovely and although we went walkabout in the town, were envious of those sitting around having snacks and drinks in the sunshine - very quintessential English scene. The entire stay was so pleasant, we will certainly look to staying overnight again when visiting Bourton. Stow Lodge Hotel Restaurant We decided to eat in the restaurant so made our booking. Later, on arriving in the restaurant we were promptly shown to our table, given an apology that they were rather busy and as a result, service may be a little slower than normal. Well if the service we received was slow, I'm glad it wasn't fast otherwise we would have been out before eating!! Excellent service with no delays, in our opinion anyway. We gave starters a miss and went for Lasagne (x2) and Duck with orange & cranberry. All the meals were excellent. The lasagne with too much cheese for my wife but it could always be removed, but perfect for my daughter. The duck came with a good selection of veg and although it appeared a tiny piece of duck breast, it was more than ample - appearances being very deceptive. Lovely tasting and well recommended. Deserts of Strawberry Pavlova and an amazing Affogato Al cafe set the meal off. Breakfast next morning was another excellent experience and there is no doubt, we'll be back.
