Cotswold Cottage Guesthouse

We really don’t know what to expect, but we’re so pleased to arrive at a clean and cozy cottage. It felt like a home away from home. Everyone was so friendly and hospitable. We loved our time there and didn’t want to leave.

We stayed for 2 nights to celebrate both my birthday and my partner’s birthday, and we had a lovely stay. The room was easy to find, and we were sent clear, easy to follow instructions for self check in. The room was clean, the bed was incredibly comfortable, and we loved the lovely touch of being able to open the double doors in the garden room and relax while listening to the birds and church bells. The location is perfect for visiting all the local tourist hotspots and completing the various trails in the area. We would highly recommend staying here and would happily return!

Very charming and perfectly located, both in town, and in the Cotswolds. We stayed in C.S. Lewis room which was very comfortable. As usual with period properties in the UK, there was no A/C but it wasn’t missed much even though we were there during a heatwave. It is right next to the cathedral so expect the church bells on the hour all night. Honestly, I didn’t mind them at all. They reminded me I was on vacation. Street parking near by isn’t 24 hour, but there is a free town lot a very short walk away near the Tesco that was quite convenient and a scenic walk through town to get there. Private courtyard for guests where we met some other travellers and compared notes. I would stay there again.

An amazing location in a beautiful market town with easy access to all the must visits in the Cotswolds. The room was quite tight for space (it is sold as a small room so nothing unexpected) but it’s been very considerately decorated to make the most of the space and is a lovely room to relax in. I wouldn’t recommend for anyone wanting to spend most of their time relaxing in the room but it would be a waste of the local area if you did! The hosts also put a lot of attention into small details to make the most of your stay.

We enjoyed our stay here. We were in an upstairs room the week they were experiencing super hot temperatures so that was warm until it cooled off in the evenings. They did provide a fan to help with the warm temperatures.

We had a wonderful stay in Stow on the Wold last week. The property is situated in the perfect place, with plenty of shops, restaurants and pubs on the doorstep. We stayed for two nights and had no problems finding a parking space directly outside. Special mention goes to Ravi, who went above and beyond for us. We stayed to celebrate my partners birthday and having seen his birthday gifts in our room she left a card from her and the team plus a kind and thoughtful gift for him. A lovely touch! Breakfast is also well worth it - delicious! - served a short walk away at the Davenford tea room. Honestly, a beautiful stay and would absolutely recommend!

Such a wonderful location, in the beautiful town of Stow, planning on coming again, staying in one of their cosy rooms. Pure value for money. Super clean rooms while being very quiet for being in such a vibrant town.
