We are a family of four and recently stayed for one night in a two-bedroom, two-bathroom apartment. Overall, the apartment was spacious and very well presented and well equipped with facilities (washer, dishwasher, microwave etc), with a modern feel. Parking was just across the main A429 and was easy and convenient. There were some thoughtful touches on arrival, including 2 individual size bottles of wine (one red and one white), 2 cans of water and tea and coffee. The towels and the bed linen were nice and crisp and clean That said, there were a few drawbacks. Despite being advertised as two bathrooms, there was only bathroom with a shower, and this shower room was very small and quite cramped. Lighting in the bathroom as also poor and not conducive to putting on makeup. My bedside table although it had a lamp did not have a power wire which made it unusable which was a little annoying. The major drawback was that one of the bedrooms (the one facing the main A429 road) was freezing and the heating did not seem to work, it was also noisy with road traffic noise from the busy A429. The underfloor heating was a nice feature, but it was difficult to regulate in the main living area, making it too warm in that room. The sofa was also not particularly comfortable. On the morning of checkout, there was a fire alarm which felt quite poorly managed. There didn’t seem to be any clear supervision from the apartment management – only a lady from the shop downstairs trying to assisting guests, which was a bit concerning. It transpired that it was caused by someone burning food in a downstairs apartment, but the lack of coordination was unsettling. In summary, a well-located and nicely presented apartment with good parking.
