If I could give a 0 that is what I would give. Arrived to an old run down room that smelled of mould and had spiderwebs and a cockroach on the ceiling. Booked 2 nights but what do you do when it's not what you expect. I do not have high expectations but I do r expect a room that reflects the time we live in which is 2025 not 1979. Guests need to be told that not all rooms or suites are not the same .....As previously mentioned this is a health issue re mould. Without much effort these apartments could be amazing ditch the curtains and old couches and paint light and bright instead of dark and depressing hopefully the owners will take these comments on board as it really a Fantastic location. But at the moment a dump!!!

This was our last 3 night stay after our 2 week Tassie tour. First impressions were good. Lovely view & we could walk to dinner after a long drive. That said the bunks are only for young kids my 19 year old got up but couldn’t get down and the lower bunk sagged. My queen bed was great. The kitchen not practical for those that want to prepare a meal -best we could do was fried eggs & toast. The toilet & bathroom fan woke everyone up. Not sure if we would return but then we looked up & that confirmed a definite no! That said Sylvester the cat was lovely.

We stayed in the James Kelly loft. The room was very spacious and cosy to stay in. Bathroom was nice and big with a good size spa. Shower over the spa. Room had a microwave and small fridge which was handy to have along with dinner plates, bowls, coffee cups and cutlery. A kitchen sink, oven and stove would be great to have in the room as that would have topped off the room just nicely. We arrived to our room with the key in the door so no need to check in as the owner sends you a text message prior to you arriving. There is a onsite guest laundry to use but only one washing machine and 2 dryers. Free to use.

We stayed in the Suites with double bed and bunk bed. Hosts are really friendly. The kids enjoyed the pets walking around the place. Playground for the kids. Excellent complementary facilities such as the Laundry and the free BBQ area. The place has beautiful views across Strahan Harbour.

Perfect stay in a great location. Well thought out breakfast included in a well appointed room. Nice view of the harbor and nothing is too far away. Strahan is a small town. Easy checkin if arriving after hours and staff were super communicative. When we go back to Strahan, we will stay here again

Very comfortable accommodation in the Boronia Chalet. Kitchen well equipped and really appreciated the daily breakfast supplies included in our package. Beds very comfortable and great views across the harbor and it was lovely to see the pademelons come across our lawn each day. Great customer service by the owners as well as the cleaning lady. Only negative is the shower being over the bath which doesn’t cater for those with limited mobility. It would better to just have a walk in shower. Additional outdoor chairs would also be great to accomodate when more than 2 guests staying. Apart from this we had a great time staying at the GG and would recommend.
