The hotel was nice, except for the exorbitant prices during Christmas. The biggest drawback: Ctrip failed to process my reservation, and I had to pay again upon arrival, which was strange. Later, Ctrip called me via voice message to communicate with the other party, recorded my card number, and then let me check in. With so many people waiting, it took a long time before I was finally allowed to check in. It was quite frustrating. This was the first time in my life I'd encountered something like this when using any hotel booking website. However, Ctrip did try to resolve the issue. It was still a memorable experience. I arrived at 3 pm, was in a hurry, and was refused check-in by the hotel for almost an hour.

Refurbished and in good shape. Clean, comfortable, good size rooms. Some slightly annoying features - like a heavy fire door to the bathroom. Why? Nothing to burn there - just hard to negotiate at night especially if you don’t want to crush a limb. Also annoying flashing lights from the a/c and emergency communicator. And if you turn off the a/c to sleep it will turn itself on again at some point in the night. Staff friendly. Breakfast perfectly ok but nothing special. Good cheese and a chance to squeeze your own fresh OJ were highlights. Preferred Okko on previous trip - but IBIS was well placed to walk to conference centre.

Absolutely awful! I felt sorry for the staff they know they have a thankless task. First room, was unclean (long hair in bed), the room smelt, bathroom Was disgusting - we were only there for 1 night so we were moved. The other room was cleaner BUT it wasn’t great. Shower flooded the bathroom, sockets hung off the walls, mattress was 2” thick. Glad we didn’t give the €21 for 3 breakfasts. Private car park was good - but children were hanging around from neighbouring flats. As we left the vending machines were being removed !

Well located, but rooms without air conditioning during this heatwave had to leave before the scheduled date. Very good welcome and breakfast, nearby parking (300m) very expensive. High price for the service. Prefer the Mercure 300m away for the same price (without breakfast)

Newly renovated, 5-story hotel, clean. Tastefully decorated. Friendly and attentive staff. Hearty breakfast, everything is provided to start a good day. Welcome drink, homemade fragrant cold herbal teas. The barmaid is very professional, loves her job, offers us refreshing cocktails, adds her own personal touch. To park the car around the hotel, everything is paid, we decided to take a space in the hotel courtyard for €25 per day. It does not offer meals. The hotel is well located 15 minutes from the city center, Notre Dame Cathedral of Strasbourg. Only the best ++++
