Hôtel Rohan Strasbourg

The location is very central but hard to find; the GPS tried to lead us directly to the front door, which proved difficult. Parking availability was vaguely defined and very expensive. Upon arrival, we didn't feel welcome at all. After a brief greeting, the staff member simply continued a lengthy phone conversation with a cleaning service employee. The room assigned to us was also very dated, with a bathtub/shower combo and loose grout. After we had settled our belongings, another family suddenly walked into our room – it had been double-booked. After a 2.5-hour city tour, we returned to find our room key blocked. We had to complain; it was a complete mess.

The hotel is in a fantastic location, all the sights and museums are in the immediate vicinity. We felt very comfortable.

It was nice to see the cathedral from the window. Perhaps some rooms don't have a view. There is also a bathtub so you can take a nice long bath.

The location is really great. It's a bit difficult to drag a large suitcase, but since it's right in front of the cathedral, you can walk anywhere in the city.

The location is magnificent, at the crossroads of the cathedral!
