Hotel la Palma

- We ordered a classic room with a mountain view, but due to lack of availability, we didn't get a mountain view, nor was we offered a discount for this inconvenience. - We received a 2:00 AM phone call due to an error that woke us up with a start twice (unprofessional). - Our car was supposed to be in the garage, but there was no valet parking. It was in a parking lot a 5-minute walk away, and we had to find our own way. - The sauna, hammam, and pool were overlooked by a construction site. - The massages were excellent (thank you to the external provider).

A wonderful hotel. We stayed in Villa Francesco, a historic building with modern amenities. Excellent breakfast and swimming pools. It's not cheap, but you can see where the money's worth.

Unfortunately, it wasn't a pleasant experience; the reception staff was unhelpful in accommodating our requests. The bathroom flooded with our first shower due to a clogged drain, and although a staff member came right away to fix it, it wasn't a pleasant situation. Finally, the rooms are scorchingly hot, and despite adjusting the thermostat several times, it remained the same, resulting in a sleepless night. The breakfast staff was very friendly and prompt, but in my opinion, the breakfast wasn't up to par with the hotel, despite the excellent service. Some details in the room and some common areas need to be addressed.
