On the last evening of my stay, there was no water supply for several hours at a time when water was really needed, so I was unable to wash my hands or take a shower. The water finally came back the next morning, but it looked yellowish and didn’t seem very clean.
As an apology, the hotel kindly gave me a small gesture of goodwill (chocolates) as compensation.
Also, the hotel was undergoing renovation during my stay, and the smell from the renovation was quite strong and unpleasant. After staying for three nights, I experienced a very uncomfortable throat and felt a little dizzy. I hope the hotel can inform guests in advance about renovation work and any potential inconvenience, so they can be mentally prepared.
On the positive side, the location and cleanliness of the hotel were very good.
