What I enjoyed was that the rate was cheap! If you are looking to simply sleep somewhere overnight, don't care about a sketchy neighbourhood or that everything about the place is "vintage" (IE: old and worn out), then this is for you. The place was under construction, so months after July 2026, maybe the place will be updated. Common space was old and worn as were the rooms. However, everything did work (lights, coffee maker, shower etc). Bed and linen were OK. I checked for bed bugs (the place has that kind of vibe!) Floor in the bathroom wasn't flat. Sitting on the can felt like leaning back on a lazy-boy chair. The room was heavy with some kind of scent..either cleaner or air freshener..that was VERY heavy. If you have allergies - stay away. I'm concerned it masked moisture/mould and/or smoke from smoking. I was going to leave but had prepaid and it was late. The owners are likely good folks and making an investment in the place (there was construction going on). However, I wouldn't have booked it if I knew the place was as it is. But if you don't mind the absolute minimum, then you won't find less expensive than this place. You get what you pay for!
