Doubletree by Hilton Sulphur Lake Charles

Kodey got us checked in and even tried to help get my co worker into a handicap accessible room, which we very much appreciated. The hotel needs to be refreshed. You can tell the pipeliners have used and abused it. My room had staples in the walls and ceilings from blocking the room off with plastic, probably from a previous leak. There was a thermostat on the wall but it didn't control anything. The room was clean overall though. My only real complaint is that we were both charged $5.51 for a parking fee that was not included or disclosed by ******* and was never disclosed by double tree at check in or check out. Still waiting for these charges to fall off after calling the hotel and them agreeing to reverse the charges.

The bathroom was not clean. Mirror dirty. Sink had beard hair. The air conditioner sounded like an animal was trying to escape from it at times.

This is an excellent option for a business stay. the staff is super-friendly and knowledgeable. I love the modern decor. The bar and restaurant are easy access and the welcome cookies are amazing !!

Love this Hotel will book again comfortable beds and fast internet. Favorite part is the live music and dining options!!

Guest Services staff members were all extreme nice and engaging. Everyone cares about your experience.

When we first arrived, the greeter was so nice. Made us feel welcome the staff in the morning in the eating area or so cheerful and helpful with our two daughters thank you very much to them.

Breakfast was well stocked but food was not good tasting.
