"What a lovely and peaceful spot to reside in."

"Lovely quirky b&b. We stayed in Room 1 which had a lovely view of the sea and lighthouse. The room was beautifully decorated, spacious, large comfy bed and lovely rainfall shower. The downstairs rooms are stunning and there are little treats lying around, little bowls of sweets, jars of haribo sweets with little bags to take a few sweets out with you. Nice little touches in the room which are a bonus nowadays. Breakfast is continental but plentiful. It is laid out in the dining room in the morning and includes cereal, pastries, fruit etc. takeaway cups if you want to take a drink out with you. There is no dining room to sit in rather you sit in one of the front lounges. There weren’t many people there whilst we were staying but if it was full not sure if it would feel a bit busy. You don’t see anyone as there is a code on the door and a code to collect your key when you arrive, which wasn’t an issue for us. We had a couple of minor issues in the room which I contacted the owner about just to make them aware . Not expecting anything to happen whilst we were there . But whilst we were out they were swiftly dealt with. Which was appreciated. Room one also had a window overlooking the side street. At night it did feel a little noisy as the main road in front of the b&b was still busy with traffic at night. And the second night sadly we were disturbed by a very inconsiderate guest who returned late to his room. Had a very loud phone call for 30-40 mins and then left his tv on loud from midnight to 2am! This kept us awake and very tired the next day when we came to leave . So much so we nearly packed up during the night and left. We tried to contact the owner on the 24/7 tel number to no avail. We sent a text, called and left a VM and then rang again twice but could not get through. We were hoping they could ring the other guest and tell him to turn his tv off . Only reason for the 4 star review ."

"You have to ring a number to get a someone to check you in then one of lights in room wasnt working went in shower no body wash in the container we were going out so no time for ringing soneone to sort it for one night stay"

"Location of the hotel is good, 5 minute walk to shops, bars restaurants etc. Rooms were clean & beds were comfortable. Breakfast was good. Unfortunately I wouldn't return due to the parking carry on. Charged £34 for 2 nights then couldn't get parked as only 20 spaces in whole of car park. I wasn't the only person, people still paying for parking & not being made aware of this! When i called the reception from the car park to let them know I had paid but could not get parked I was told to take it up with Horizon. I then started to ask if there was anywhere near by I could park but before I finished my sentence the receptionist hung up! I didn't get parked on either night & had to pay again in another car parking facility, so turned out quite expensive but mainly annoying when its the start of a break away. Very disappointing"

"Had a great stay here. Check in was quick, easy and U was greeted by a friendly receptionist. My room was clean and tidy and contained everything I required. The bed was comfy too. Breakfast in the morning was delicious. This is my second time at this hotel in the last three months and I'll certainly be staying again in the future."
