We were told our room had a balcony with a sea view. We went on the balcony and looked right in front of a derelict building, the Seaview was right in the distance. The room was dark and dinghy. So we asked to be moved. They told us we couldn't move till the Saturday, this was Thursday, so we said OK. Before we moved rooms the toilet had become loose and was moving. When we moved we told the cleaners about the toilet. The breakfast was terrible there was cold meats out with no covers on them so the flys and wasps were on them. The scrambled egg was all dried up hardly any beans. We never ate there after seeing this. Rooms were dirty, we had no clean sheets or towels all the week we were there . And the cleaners only came in to empty the bins.

On arrival we was greeted by Mel. It was 0230 in the morning and she was full of life with a lovely welcoming smile to say she had probably been waiting a few hours for us to arrive ( flight was delayed) She gave us our room key on onwards and upwards we went. Our room was very basic but we noticed straight away how clean smelling it was aswel as obviously how clean it was. Later that morning we headed down for breakfast which was the standard continental breakfast, sliced meats, bread, fresh fruit, cereals and little pastries, tea coffee and fruit juices. The pool was small but the pool area was clean. One criticism we had was, coming from the beach at night along the back alley there was no light so had to use our camera phone touches. We was situated on the 2nd floor of the hotel and the stairwells were also in darkness which can be a health and safety hazard, not sure why the lights weren't working but we were too polite not to ask All in all for what we paid it was value for money

Small hotel that is very basic, room was clean and of a suitable standard for a 3 star rating. the location is not very good if you want to go to the ***** (flower street) as its almost 2 miles away, but you can get the buss for 2 lev just outside but it stops running after midnight so you either have to walk back or risk a "make it up as they go taxi" One thing i found concerning is that they lock the gates to the hotel in he evening with dead locks!!, so if you need to get in late at night you have to rely on someone being on reception (which is not always the case as we found out on our first night) I suggest you ask for a key to the gate as they don't tell you about it being locked after a certain time. Breakfast was inedible and only consisted of the cheapest cereal money could buy, cold green boiled eggs that were days old, cheep cold beans, bacon and cold fried eggs (I think they were also prepared days before) so to sum up, ok if you want a cheep hotel in the middle of nowhere that serves rubbish food and locks you in at night its your perfect hotel. good luck

Just returned from Bora Bora and can say we had a lovely 2 week stay here, room kept very clean and bedding and towels changed regularly. The pool area was also kept clean and tidy and the beds were wiped down every morning as we watched whilst having breakfast. The breakfast was much the same as every hotel in Sunny beach, toast, fried eggs, boiled eggs, scrambled eggs, frankfurter sausage, bacon( could be cooked longer), pastries, cereals, fruit and yoghurts, definitely needs a new coffee machine as staff constantly sorting it but that’s just minor. They also do meals all day and what we had there we enjoyed. Staff friendly and polite, there were 2 barmen and Daniel the most experienced and Deniz took a while to get our drinks but this is due to less experience I would say. We would go back to this hotel as we liked the location as right at the beach and away from the rowdy centre. Thank you Bora Bora for a lovely holiday.

On arrival, we were given a very warm welcome from Daniella. All the staff were very welcoming and friendly and attentive. Peter the Manager was fabulous and friendly. Peter one of the bar staff was lovely too. I felt like it was a home from home for the weeks stay. The staff even carried our suitcases for us. Room cleaned daily and fresh towels. The beach is about a 1-minute walk and the location in Sunny Beach was perfect. I can't wait to return next year. This was the best holiday I have ever had in Sunny beach and so glad I found this little Gem of a hotel, Elaine and Janet. We look forward to seeing you all again next year, Janet and Elaine.x

Arrived early hours of the morning, family of 5, two rooms 401 and 403 had to go back to the reception to get bedding and ask about sofa bed for daughter. Fair play the friendly lady on reception came back up and set it up for us. Breakfast wasn’t really worth getting up for probably the worst I’ve ever had, ok if you just want toast and coffee. The pool area was clean and always plenty of sun beds. Ate and drank in the pool bar/restaurant quite a few times , food always fresh and tasty, the girls loved the banana milkshakes and Daniel always happy and helpful. The staff were lovely Location was on the far left of sunny beach, good walk into the centre. Small alley ways to the hotel which were lit up and gate to the hotel was locked after a certain time which you have a key for. The rooms were average size for two people not spacious enough for 3 people. The fridge’s in both rooms were unusable as moldy. Air conditioning not really working that well in both rooms . Overall enjoyed our stay, as it was small and friendly hotel and no hustle and bustle of the big hotels and not fighting for sun beds or queues for the bar.

We arrived here late and the lady on the desk was lovely, even got us a couple of bottles of water. We were in rooms 405 and 406. Both had sea views and we found out ours was actually an upgrade to a family room. Breakfast was adequate, always something to eat. The fruit and cakes were delicious. We only ate snacks at the pool bar but they were lovely as were the cocktails! All staff were lovely and location was amazing, literally round the corner from the beach. If you like busy hotels constantly noisy etc then this hotel is not for you but if you like a small, family run hotel then you can't go wrong here

We stayed for 11 nights here. On arrival we thought it was nice, the rooms were clean, we had a nice meal late as we arrived late and the staff were friendly. After 3 days no one had been in the room but when we mentioned it this was rectified (we were desperate for towels). After about 4 days I wanted to go home as EVERYONE smoked. All the staff do and no one cares if they are smoking when you are eating a meal. It was even coming into my room through vents on 2 of the nights. However the whole of Sunny Beach is like this and you just can’t escape it. Us none smokers are in the minority. I even asked for a no smoking area in one of the bars (Emona) and was looked at like I was the stupid one. I’ve actually came home with breathing problems and need to see a doctor. But if you love smoking, get yourself there as otherwise it was nice 👍

Absolutely fantastic hotel for the price. We arrived late, just as the kitchen was closed, the owner arranged for the staff to stay to cook us something, rather than trouble them too much we just went for the omelette and fries, after delays at the airport it felt like the best meal ever, The hotel itself is 2 minutes away from the beach and also the start of the green land train Into town. 6 Lev's and worth every bit of you're too knackered after a day in the glorious sun. As all the other reviews say.... The toaster does take a while, but who cares, you're on holiday and you have two hours to wolf down the breakfast so pop some bread in, grab a latte and just wait. The breakfasts were typical, usual foreign sausage (hot dog) scrambled eggs, beans and sometimes fried eggs, a massive continental selection and some amazing pastries . Try the Bulgarian breakfast, I've forgot their name for it, it's basically eggy bread and delicious . The occasional meal we had at the hotel was spot on The staff.... What can I say, they are fantastic, bear in mind, this seems like a family run hotel, not a faceless chain, and all the guests we spoke too seemed to be returnees, year after year and I'm not surprised, the friend I came with has already booked up twice for this hotel next year and she's usually a holiday snob who likes 5* luxury, and this ain't 5*, but what it is, is a great hotel, with a lovely atmosphere, good clean pool, a stocked bar, pretty decent food ( though we never had a bad meal anywhere we ate) and loads of sunshine. The rooms were recently updated, nothing flash, just functional and very clean, was there a downside ? The first night the towel rail fell off and the shower glass popped off the runners, I fixed it myself rather than bother the staff. No big deal. I thought my friend was going to make her gob go and get us a new hotel, but by lunchtime she swore it was the best hotel she's ever stayed in. My dear old mam always said I had to go to Bulgaria one day , places like this are the reason why. I'd deffo come back
