Tiara Beach - All Inclusive

We are currently on our last day at Tiara Beach. The Positives: The staff are wonderful, I can't fault them. Especially Ani our housekeeper, she's lovely. The Alcohol is great, Beer is good and the wine is excellent. Our suite was clean and the beds comfy. Can't fault the size of the room at all. The bathroom was lovely with the shower working great. Everything needed is within walking distance, the beach, plenty of shops and restaurants. Plenty to do for the kids, a games room and an outdoor and indoor play area. The Negatives: The main negative for us was the food, I'm not usually fussy in anyway shape or form, but I really struggled. The meat dishes were always fatty and boney. The hot choice of food was limited to six trays of food that got repetitive and boring. I found it ridiculous for a hotel of this size. My wife struggled to eat anything because she is vegetarian. There wasn't much vegetarian alternatives other than salad, soup, pizza and stone cold chips. The snack bar however was great, and the chap in there was helpful and lovely. The WiFi was atrocious and didn't barely work. You're absolutely screwed if you need to use it. The pool is stone cold and for that reason we barely used it. Overall, the staff make the hotel have a lovely feel. But with an improvement of the food, it could quite easily be 4*. But until then, only 3*s from us.

Brilliant hotel for both couples and families. Spotlessly clean and a good variety of food and drink. The entertainment team are excellent with different activities running each day from 10am to 10pm for both children and adults. Would like to give a special mention to Nico who is amazing at his job. Will definitely be going back again.

The hotel was clean and staff were friendly enough. The room we had was spacious with a wet room and separate bathroom. We had a lounge area with tv and bedroom with tv. I have never been anywhere with so much storage. The downfall was the balcony it was so small, the view was amazing but no room to sit comfortably. The food was not good and always cold, breakfast was the only meal we really had after the first few attempts as it was so bad. We ate out every night but it was a decent walk to find anywhere that was open. There was not a lot that had opened yet as there season had not properly started.

Hotel very clean and staff are friendly enough However the local area outside the hotel looks like it’s closed for good Having been here before there were shops and bars open everywhere you looked souvenir shop were everywhere now there’s nothing It reminds me of Chernobyl looks like people just left everything is in a bad state of repair compared to how nice this place was a few years ago it’s just like a ghost town nothing to do and even down in the central area it’s all closed So before you decide to come here think again as it’s really bad and this is the worse holiday I’ve ever been on

We booked with Jet2 holidays plain staff were rude and stressed which was the start of a nightmare .then we arrived at Tara Beach Hotel Sunny Beach Bulgaria bag carrier was very polite welcoming and the bald guy at the front desk spoke a little English but explained everything to us to a reasonable level Restaurant staff incredibly rude and talk about the British people in their language while pulling faces. Jet2 holidays false advertised saying there was loads for kids things to do like the ball pit arena which was open for half an hour once the whole week we were staying we made some friends that were here with their children and a couple of ladies that brought their child away for a short break on their own. Weren’t even allowed to take milk up for their baby at night out of made to be very unwelcome to the point of crying .absolutely disgusting for children very hard to entertain them as none of the staff speak much English and don’t understand when you’re asking for help for excursions and two places as I am here with just my girlfriend, we didn’t have the issue of children. But me and my partner were made to feel very unwelcome had a hand put in my face when I was asking a question. Now we get onto the food it’s Bulgarian cuisine which was expected not much me and my partner liked, but we don’t mind the fact it was all Bulgarian and they don’t cater to any sort of British needs as we’re in Bulgaria. But was constantly having into microwave every meal. freezing cold. This is breakfast lunch and dinner stay away at all very very bad experience.

I went here for 7 days late August- early September. It wasn't the worst experience though I feel the hotel has a lot of flaws. Firstly, the lack of food variety in the restaurant is insane! It's like eating bread everyday for breakfast, chips for lunch and plain chicken for dinner; it'd be fairly boring. There were little to no of beef and fish, as well as very few desserts. And despite there being various no smoking signs, countless people still use cigarettes and it honestly smells horrid to people who don't use them and the workers don't even do anything about it. There's also a ridiculously overpriced 40 Lev deposit for each towel! I get that it's a deposit and it wouldn't be too bad if they allowed Euro or GBP. But they don't which means you need to pay out all of your leftover GBP to exchange it into Lev, which is very annoying. On the positive side though, the Wi-Fi is very good and works well in hotel rooms and even in the pool areas! The waterslides and the pool are also very entertaining and nice. The location is pretty nice too. There's a super cool experience when you enter the closest beach (which is only around a 3 minute walk!) Overall, the hotel needs a fair bit of improvement but it has lots of potential!

Hotel foyer impressive on arrival. Room comfy and clean. Reception staff helpful. Restaurant staff and chefs work incredibly hard but never smile no matter how polite you are to them. Bar staff work really hard too. Food - can be repetitive but we never went hungry. It wasn’t always hot partly due to the fact they put it in hot plates with lids and these are constantly being opened for people to serve themselves. My son enjoyed the waffles from the bar near the slides in the afternoon. Again staff in there never smiled. Drinks - cocktails are sweet and as per most all inclusive it is their local spirits not your brands but we enjoyed trying them. Towels replaced if you needed them to be by leaving them on the floor in the bathroom as instructed. Nice walk to Nessebar old town approximately 50 minutes. Caught the bus back for 2 leva per person. Never failed to get a sunbed. Animation team work tirelessly and remember lots of names, making you feel special. The walk into Sunny Beach is about 15-20 minutes. It was very busy in the evening.

2nd year in a row that we came to this hotel as it ticked all the boxes last year. This year huge improvement in the restaurant being extended and the variety of food ( though we didn’t struggle last year). You can tell the staff took pride in their food sections and the serving areas were well thought out. The fresh salad and dessert areas were amazing. And the table were cleared and cleaned almost immediately. The pool area was clean with new umbrellas which didn’t go unnoticed, just a shame some holiday makers didn’t seem to care with cigarette ends, ash, and rubbish discarded. Hotel rooms clean and modern, could do with a deep clean though- plug hole mould, dusty light shades, under beds- but on the whole clean and cleaned every day. Animation staff never stopped and really friendly getting people involved. They did random and funny shows and one night had a firework display- which was a surprise and pretty impressive. Staff as a whole friendly and helpful- I don’t find rude, just efficient and helpful. I did have an incident arise during our stay which was dealt with swiftly and professionally by the Manager. All in all a great holiday with three hard to please teenagers and two adults trying to relax :-) .

This was our first time in Bulgaria and we certainly picked a very good hotel . We were very happy with our stay and found the staff to be very courteous. The food was varied enough to put together a good meal and the food was well seasoned ... The animation team were hard working and cheerful and did their best to give everyone a good time . The 2 bars at the hotel were well stocked with drinks but international brands were extra and not included in all inclusive price . The hotel rooms we had were very spacious and clean . The best we have had in last 3 years ! The gym was very good and had machines and loose olympic weights about 150kg in plates PLUS good range of dumbells going up to about 30kg a side ! This is important to us as three of us train ! We will defo be coming back again as it was a great holiday.
