Grand Hotel Sunny Beach - All Inclusive

Just back from 11 days in sunny Beach at Grand Hotel. We arrived on the last few days of May and then first week of June 2024. The resort of sunny Beach was just about 90% open with some places still shut but its early season so probably wait until at least the first week of June to go. The hotel has been modernised and you can see they have done a good job. Everything is clean and fresh. The food was a little unusual and some times I just couldn't find anything I liked. I'm really not a fan of horse meat or breaded vegetables. The spirits from bottles were good but some of the cocktails came from pre mixed boxes and not the best. The beer was called Diana and it says 3% ABV but it felt like half that. Plus it was flat and tasteless. Not good for me as I'm a beer drinker and the wine was awful too. The hotel is situated just up the promenade from the main ***** called Flower Street. The pool is a little small and shallow but it is very easy to leave the pool area and cross over to the beach and sea. Don't relay on the life guard around the pool as he never pays any attention to what's happening. The hotel entertainment is sporadic and sometimes over by 8.30pm then the lights go on and you can sit in silence or you can go out and spend your money in the local area. There is a sports bar located right at the front doors to the hotel which they claim is independently run and you can buy your drinks in there. Otherwise head out to the various bars and clubs only a few minutes walk. We ate out many times as I just couldn't find anything to eat. I would recommend this hotel for the over 60's as the majority of people staying there were quite elderly and they seemed to like sitting there in silence. They also liked the food. The hotel has 12 floors with great views of the beach if your lucky. Getting to Nessebar is really easy on the bus and we did it many times just to get away from the hotel pool.and crowds.

Just got back from a last minute four-night solo stay at thus Hotel. My room was clean with comfortable beds and had a mini fridge, tea/coffee making facilities and hairdryer in shower room/wet room. I was on first floor and my balcony overlooked street/shop so didn't sit outside. Lovely restaurant/outside dining area with a good choice of food including daily poolside bbq's at 3.30pm ( great if you are out and about and have missed lunch). Ice creams also available at this time as well as at meal times. On the down side the pool is really small and shallow but you can swim in sea as you are only a few steps away from the private beach. Overall a great hotel which caters well for disabled people, families/couples and solos alike.

Fabulous week here.rooms and hotel had a total refurbishment. Everywhere clean.food choices fantastic. We had a lactose and gluten intolerance member of our family.no problems in food choice.poolarea clean,only couple of complaints. Entertainment not on every night.no food available after8.30pm.apart from that great.would definitely return

Only want to give two complaints. Any other complaints I have is the same everywhere I stay so won't get into that. Firstly is the curtains in the rooms. They do not fit and most importantly they are not blackout. Shame because rooms are lovely. My second complaint is no sun on my balcony. Us brits go on holiday for the sun so give the brits the sunny balcony's.

What a fantastic time I had and the bar staff are excellent especially TODOR at the outside pool bar how with his wisdom and humour made my days. Also I can't complain about the excellent food served all day. It caterers for all tourists including families and solo travellers like myself.

I stayed 3 days in this hotel, the staff was very kind, the rooms were clean and the atmosphere was pleasant. It is just a few steps from the sea and they have a swimming pool in the yard. Perfect for a vacation and a nice stay at the sea. Thank you i will be back

We were there for a 4 days vacation with my friends , overall we felt very safe and comfortable with the amazing staff working in the hotel and the Pub in-front of it the food was perfect , we spent a lot of time on the pool bar and the beach area that was part of the hotel and we were amazed by the modern and comfortable atmosphere of the rooms. Definitely recommend a stay there

Excellent service Brilliant hotel after the refurbishment. Very clean. Food from the restaurant is very good and a good selection to choose from very day. Breakfast, lunch and dinner. Maria is our favourite receptionist and the manager Milena is very accommodating. Todor is our favourite staff from the pub.

I really enjoyed here… highly recommend, we'll be back! Me and the family loved it, the place was clean, the food was delicious, the service was good and the people here were welcoming and friendly !!
