The conference organizer had reserved rooms at this hotel for attendees; however, there appeared to be serious miscommunication between the hotel and the conference management team. The guest list held by the hotel did not match the organizer’s list, which caused confusion during check-in and room assignments.
In my case, there were mistakes involving room access and check-in arrangements, resulting in multiple room changes and having to move my belongings several times. This was extremely inconvenient and exhausting after a long journey.
What concerned me most was the lack of proper security procedures. The room was shared, but only one key card was provided. When contacting the front desk, there did not seem to be thorough verification of guest identity, and it appeared to be too easy for someone to gain access to the room. This made me feel uncomfortable and unsafe regarding both personal security and privacy.
Although the hotel itself may have decent facilities, the overall experience was negatively affected by poor coordination, disorganized management, and insufficient security measures. I sincerely hope both the hotel and the conference organizers improve their communication and guest safety procedures in the future.
