Star International Hotel

The room was really cozy and well-decorated, and it even had a huge bathtub, though I didn't get a chance to use it. The front desk staff, Xiao Zheng (Zheng Yanan) and Xiao Miao, were incredibly warm and thoughtful. They even gave us complimentary water when we checked out, which was a nice touch. I'd definitely stay here again if I have the chance!

The soundproofing in the room is really terrible; I could clearly hear the person next door unplugging their charger. The room itself is old and outdated. My biggest complaint, though, is the breakfast. It was an absolute mess, and they weren't refilling items promptly. There was food debris all over the floor that no one bothered to clean, and when we couldn't find a table, there was no one to help guide us.

This stay was a great experience. The staff were friendly and attentive, respecting guests and providing rooms according to their needs. The service was of a high standard. The head waiter at the front desk, Xiao Miao, was considerate of guests' needs, approachable and friendly, treating guests like family, which greatly enhanced guests' positive impression of the hotel and the city of Suqian.

Upon check-in, the receptionist, Ms. Miao, upgraded my room. I was hoping to find a room with a sunset view over the lake, so Ms. Xu from the lobby showed me several rooms. In the end, I chose the upgraded business room. I'm very grateful for the warm service from both ladies. Last night, the TV wouldn't turn on, and two staff members kindly helped me fix it. I didn't want to go out that evening, so I ate at the hotel, which was quite good. The two restaurant staff were very professional and friendly. Regarding the facilities, they were a bit old; there was no refrigerator, but the air conditioning was okay and not too noisy. It's close to Luoma Lake, just a few minutes' drive away, and the sunset was absolutely beautiful! I also visited the famous "Lonely Tree" photo spot. The breakfast had some vegetables, which I like, but there was relatively little meat. I enjoyed the tofu pudding and spicy soup.

This is a very satisfactory hotel. From the front desk reception to room service, everyone was very warm and attentive. Xiao Miao and Xiao Qiu at the front desk proactively inquired about our needs. Because we had children, they even provided baby supplies and sand toys. Special praise goes to Chen Jianrong, who always greeted us and offered assistance – very thoughtful. The hotel breakfast was also plentiful. During our four-night stay, the breakfast menu changed daily, and the food was delicious. They also offered freshly cooked noodles and rice noodles, and the pancakes were made to order. Food was replenished promptly, and the trash was collected quickly, so there was rarely a wait in the morning. The hotel rooms were clean and tidy, and toiletries were replenished promptly. Any additional needs were quickly met. They even provided fruit and milk daily during our stay, which was very considerate. The only drawback was the significant difference in facilities between the two bathrooms in the suite. The smaller bathroom near the entrance lacked a soap dish and a place to hang towels, which was very inconvenient. I hope this can be improved. Overall, this is a highly recommended hotel. During the National Day holiday, when tourist attractions were packed with people, we enjoyed a peaceful and comfortable stay.

The restaurant and swimming pool are very good, the room is clean and comfortable, and the service is very good and satisfactory. The breakfast is quite rich, the restaurant dishes are fresh and taste great, the latte at the Dream Bar on the first floor is delicious, and the complimentary fruit plate and afternoon tea are also good!

It was my first time in Suqian. Actually, the business district is near Luoma Lake, so I found a relatively good hotel. I didn't expect to be surprised after entering. The room was very big and comfortable. The children were super happy. The hotel also has a swimming pool. The water is very clean. The children didn't want to get up after swimming. The service is also very good. We got our slippers wet while swimming, and new ones were sent to us immediately! The hotel also gave us tickets to the beach park. We went there to play for a while, which was not bad! I will still choose Xingchen next time.
