The hotel's location is excellent. There's a large supermarket next door and a light rail station right outside. You can easily take public transportation to Sea World or Movie World, so there's no need for a taxi.

Here’s a firm, concise version: Extremely disappointing stay, from reception through to the room and washroom. The property’s condition and overall experience were far below expectations—not even at the standard of a basic motel. Such a poor experience is particularly disappointing given the beautiful location and the reputation of the brand. This property seriously undermines the brand name and needs significant improvement.

The room was clean, the sea view room had a great view, and the room was spacious.

The switched-on attentive, friendly staff members make Surfers Paradise Novotel a truly exceptional destination hotel invigorated by their special caring attitude , and encouraged by warm Coral Sea vibes crashing close by. Even indulgent comfy dream inspired bedding in all rooms ; mattress pillows ultra soft linen providing complete relaxation and beneficial instant sleep can’t compare to the hotels life choices . Because! Hey, I’m not here visiting Australia’s tourist mecca to rest relax crash out or doze ; I’m here to party , enjoy celebrating my special birthday , excitedly with friends, in fine form, luckily with much help from my new dear Novotel mates

Honestly, this is the most satisfying hotel experience I've had in all my years of traveling. The balcony truly overlooks the ocean! Even if you don't go out all day, just sitting on the balcony, daydreaming while gazing at the Gold Coast, is something I'd happily do. The sea breeze makes for such a pleasant mood. Seriously, this hotel has significantly enhanced my impression of the Gold Coast. I was reluctant to leave. First, let's talk about the hotel's location. It's a mere three to four-minute walk from the tram station, and on the first floor downstairs is a Woolworths supermarket – super convenient! Another three to four-minute walk brings you to Surfers Paradise Beach, surrounded by numerous restaurants. You couldn't ask for a more convenient spot. The room we booked was also fantastic. It was a family room with two separate bedrooms: one with a king-size bed and the other with two double beds. The balcony faces the sea, perfect for quietly enjoying the ocean view. The hotel breakfast was also abundant and varied daily, which we really appreciated. I'll definitely book this hotel again on my next visit to the Gold Coast.

A decent, established 4-star hotel. It boasts an excellent location, right in the heart of the Gold Coast, very close to the beach and public transport. This makes it convenient for dining, shopping, and visiting attractions. The rooms are quite spacious, clean, and tidy, though the ocean view rooms don't directly face the beach and have some obstructions. The breakfast spread is quite generous. The only downside is that the facilities are a bit old. Overall, it's still a good value-for-money option in this area.

Located right in the heart of Surfers Paradise, the hotel is super convenient for dining and getting around. Guest parking is $27 per day. The staff clean the rooms very quickly and efficiently. The only downside is that some of the hotel facilities feel a bit dated, but it doesn’t really affect the overall experience.

Extremely satisfied with this trip! The front desk service was excellent, and the hotel's location is super convenient. My Gold Coast trip was truly enjoyable. I'll definitely choose this hotel again next time I visit Gold Coast.

Great property and superb location. High floor rooms have a scenic view of the beach. Only 1 thing is that the shower water flow is really slow but probably due to higher floor issue. Otherwise, it’s a lovely property to be in.
