Crowne Plaza SURFERS PARADISE by IHG

Great location! The L1 tram right outside the door was super convenient. The views were also lovely, and there's a rooftop restaurant with great views (only open Thursday to Sunday). However, the room facilities were very old, looking like they were from the 80s. The TV in our room couldn't even pick up digital signals, only analog.

This hotel offers excellent service. After booking on Ctrip, I emailed them to mention it was our honeymoon. Upon check-in, we found a welcome card and macarons, which was a lovely touch! The front desk staff were also very friendly. The deposit is only $1 per room per order. However, it's been 3 days since checkout, and I still haven't received the deposit refund. Credit card refunds seem to take longer than expected; if you want it back faster, you might consider paying cash. The room looks pretty much like the photos, and the bathroom is larger than I anticipated. Although it's listed as a sea-view room, due to the hotel's location, you can only see a small glimpse of the ocean, which is a bit of a shame and a minor drawback. The hotel has been open for a while, and the facilities are decent. If you're bringing a laptop, the Wi-Fi isn't very smooth, but it's good enough for browsing and streaming on phones or tablets. The hotel's location is super convenient for transportation; you can catch the train right outside. It's just a three-stop ride on the L1 to the nearby Surfers Paradise shopping area.

I stayed here for a vacation. The location is great, and the room offered both ocean and inland river views.

The biggest highlight of Crowne Plaza SURFERS PARADISE by IHG is its location—it's right across the street from the Florida Gardens light rail station. Getting to and from major attractions is very convenient, and the beach is within walking distance. The room was spacious with an open view from the balcony, and the pool is great for kids. Although it was listed as an ocean view room, you can only catch a glimpse of the sea. The facilities are a bit dated, but they are well-maintained and didn't affect our stay. The front desk staff were friendly, check-in was smooth, and it offers good value for money for family trips. Highly recommended.

Terrible! The only thing 'Crown' about it is the name. Besides the outdated facilities, the service was also very poor. The main issue was the bed – it was super soft, but really it just felt like it had caved in. I barely slept for two nights. The curtains were useless too. And the location is far from the heart of Surfers Paradise. Truly awful 👎

The location is very convenient, just a few minutes' walk to the beach. The hotel balcony is also very spacious, and there are many restaurants nearby. I particularly recommend the lamb chops at the hotel restaurant; they melt in your mouth and are incredibly delicious. It was a great experience.

The room was clean and comfortable. The train station right in front of the hotel made it very convenient to get to the city center. However, the rental car parking fee of $29 per night was a bit pricey.
