Motel 6 Harrisburg, PA – Near PA Expo Center

Cockroaches, stains on walls, on floors (I think blood stains) broken door keys and cigarette burns on bathroom counter. Really.

DO NOT STAY HERE. The rooms smell like stale smoke. The sheets have stains and cigarette burn holes!!! The towels are gross and dingy. The floors are dirty. The walls have damage and there’s mold in the shower. We left in the middle of the night.

Too many roaches inside and a ton of bugs outside. Not comfortable at all. And I usually don't do reviews. But this had to be said.

The lobby was a poor area. There was a sign that said no refunds after 30 minutes. That seemed strange. The room itself was very poor. LOTS of maintenance and cleaning needed to be done. The beds were ok. The refrigerator was old and not plugged in, neither was the TV. In the morning our items in the refrigerator were frozen. The bathroom was barely tolerable. There was some kind of stain on the toilet lid. The shower curtain was dirty and nasty. Two out of three of us refused to shower there. There was a big hole under the sink. There were 4 cups, only one was wrapped. The others were not wrapped, (I don’t know where those cups came from-yuck!) I had to go ask for another set of towels and a roll of toilet paper. I got the feeling that there might have been some nefarious activity was going on there. The grassy area for the dog was good. Would absolutely not recommend.

The lady was very nice at the front desk. Her name starts with a J. Jeanie or something like that. She helped my friend and I get a room right away. She answered questions about the room that we had and the check in process was fast and smooth. She talked to us very respectfully and has a very good aura to her. The rooms were standard. They were okay. But it is motel 6 so it’s not top notch. But it’s a nice location. It got a gas station right across the street if you’re wanting to just walk somewhere and other gas stations close and restaurants. Also the air is very nice and there are a lot of trees which to me nature is so important. The check out guy was very nice too

The room smelled bad, it looked like it was in the middle of repairs, there was one set of towels (3 travelers), no shampoo, and no coffee.

Walked not room and flipped in light and the cockroach scattered go to front desk to tell them and the lady said no no we have to bugs I told yes mama u do would u like me to show you offered another room hell no were there some there is more never again

Don't do it. Don't throw your money away. The "non smoking" that we booked reeked of smoke.... suffocating. The bed sheets had holes and various stains on them. I asked for another room. The room was better but the whole property is trashy everywhere. Unswept stairways, grimy surfaces everywhere. Over-used outlet adapters look like a certain fire hazard. We only stayed because it was too late to drive all over town to find another place. The only amenity that we planned to use: "our coffee maker is broken" was the response that we got. I don't usually write reviews but this was just too blatant to not warn travelers.

There were ants in the room that got all over me and my stuff. They were on the floor, in the bed, on the counters. There was blood and other gross things on the walls. The pillows were stained and the towels were stained and dirty.
