The hotel's location is excellent. After arriving at Kami-Suwa Station, you can take a shuttle bus directly to the hotel entrance. Just remember to book it in advance via email or phone. A key thing to note is that you need to cross the pedestrian bridge from the station to the parking lot at the West Exit of Kami-Suwa to catch it.
The hotel breakfast offers local specialties, which I thoroughly enjoyed, and there was a wide variety of choices.
The outdoor hot spring and large public bath are, without a doubt, fantastic. Plus, the male and female baths switch daily. I showered mainly in the large public bath during my two-night stay, so I didn't find the in-room facilities to be too dated.
There are two washing machines and two dryers available, and the hotel also has English-speaking staff at the front desk.
The room uses a physical key, so be sure to keep it safe. To my pleasant surprise, when I returned to my room in the evening, the staff had tidied up and neatly arranged the items I had left scattered on my table. I was very touched by this.
All in all, this is a hotel where, if you manage to secure a reservation, you can simply relax and enjoy your stay.

I initially thought it would be much older, but upon arrival, I found it's actually quite new, except for the bathroom. The facilities are good, and the service is great. The lake view is fantastic, and there's bicycle rental right outside. They also have a large public bath and an observation deck with nice views. The only downside is that it's a bit far from the station, so you need to pay attention to the shuttle bus schedule.

Overall, the hotel is pretty good, but it's really far from the station and public transport isn't great. There aren't many restaurants or convenience stores nearby. For a tourist, I don't think it's worth coming all the way out here to stay.

Very nice private bath. And was very close to the water. They also offered a free shuttle service multiple times throughout the morning.

It's an older hotel, but the service attitude is excellent – very warm, enthusiastic, and attentive. Overall, it's pretty good.

The hotel reception service was excellent. The interior is a bit old-fashioned, resembling an old-fashioned guesthouse, but it's very clean. Lake Suwa is also fantastic; soaking in the hotel's open-air hot spring at night is incredibly relaxing. Everyone is welcome to visit!

The hotel is about a 15-minute walk from JR Suwa Station. There is a shuttle bus service at certain times. The hotel faces Lake Suwa. I booked a Japanese-style lake view room, and the view from the window was very nice. Room service staff will make the bed in the room. You can tell the front desk the specific time. The hotel has two buildings. You need to go to the other building for breakfast, which is just average. The hotel's hot spring is nice. There are various types of hot springs and pools, including an open-air hot spring. The men's and women's pools are switched every other day.

There is a foreign staff member so you can communicate in English when checking in. The hotel has some history but is well maintained. It is a bit far from the JR station, but it is not a problem if you are driving. It takes more than ten minutes to walk to find the restaurant. The best thing is the view from the hotel rooftop. On a clear day, you can see Mount Fuji!

The hotel has a shuttle bus to the station, and there are plenty of parking spaces, so it's a good option for those driving; it's about an 8-minute walk. There's only a 7-Eleven nearby, and going to a Lawson is a bit of a walk, but the hotel itself offers great value for money, so it's okay.
The hotel's onsen (hot spring) is amazing; I highly recommend it.
And they're very friendly to foreigners, explaining everything very clearly!

The location, the shared hours for the hot springs, the rooms, the meals, the front desk, and the shop all demonstrated impeccable hospitality. Although I was traveling alone this time, I would love to visit again with my family.

I booked the hotel last minute, the night before.
The hotel has a shuttle bus to Kami-Suwa. Two things to note: First, you need to book in advance. I filled out a reservation form on their website the night before, and confirmed it was available by phone the next day. You can also book directly by phone. Second, I didn't notice when booking that the shuttle doesn't pick you up from the taxi stand or parking lot in front of Kami-Suwa. You have to cross a pedestrian bridge to reach the stop (on the west side).
Lake Suwa is in front of the hotel, and you can see Mount Fuji to the south. The onsen (hot spring) is nice, with several baths, including an open-air one.
The hotel has its own Chinese restaurant. We came back late from Tateishi Park and ordered Mapo Tofu noodles and Hot and Sour Soup noodles. Yes, noodles! To be honest, these are dishes I'm quite picky about. The Mapo Tofu used minced beef and Chinese seasonings, and the Hot and Sour Soup used bamboo shoots and seafood broth. If it weren't for the fact that it was too sweet according to Japanese tastes and served with noodles, I would have given it full marks. Anyway, we finished it all.
The hotel room is Japanese-style, and they made up the beds for us at dinner. We went to soak in the hot springs, one indoor and one outdoor, both were very nice.
The hotel was a pleasant surprise, a completely unexpected find.
