Four Points by Sheraton Suwon

Suwon, the capital of Gyeonggi Province, doesn't have any five-star hotels, but this is one of the best you'll find here! It's conveniently located right next to Suwon City Hall Station, not far from Hwaseong Haenggung Palace and Paldalsan Mountain. The hotel hasn't been open long, and while the rooms aren't huge, they are incredibly clean and tidy, and all the facilities are brand new. The bedding is spotless and super comfortable! Breakfast is absolutely fantastic! They have rice noodles, Yangzhou fried rice, xiaolongbao (soup dumplings), and shumai (steamed dumplings). The grilled salmon cheek is particularly amazing, and the grilled mackerel is also excellent! Their bread and pastries are delicious too. Check-out at 12 PM is a huge plus, especially since most hotels in Korea require check-out before 11 AM. All in all, if you're visiting Suwon, this is the place to stay!

1. The facilities are comprehensive, especially the charging cable which has three different connectors – I didn't even need my travel adapter. The mini-fridge was great for food, the kettle worked well, and the hairdryer was good too. 2. The carpet is a bit old, and the hallway has a slightly stale smell. 3. The front desk and doormen were incredibly helpful and professional, and communicated fluently in English. 4. The bathroom was clean, the shower stall was clean but had some mold spots. The sink drained a bit slowly, possibly because the water pressure was too strong. I hope they can improve this. 5. Even with the 'do not disturb' sign on, they slipped service reminders under the door, informing me I could call if I needed the room cleaned. Very thoughtful. 6. The location couldn't be more convenient, with excellent public transport links. If it weren't for the mold spots, it would have been a perfect five-star rating.

The room was great, breakfast was excellent, and the front desk staff were very friendly. There's a park and an art center right across the street.

This hotel is incredibly comfortable, and the front desk staff are always so cheerful. The room layout is very tidy, and the bathroom and toilet are exceptionally clean. I was able to enjoy a relaxing hot bath there. Honestly, it felt just like being at home. It completely washed away any unpleasant experiences I had at other hotels in Seoul. A special thanks to the male staff member named Han at the front desk, who also helped me send a package. In summary: a first-class hotel with top-notch, warm service. I also think the air conditioning system in the room was by far the best I encountered during my two-week trip in Korea; it maintained a perfectly consistent temperature, unlike some places where it fluctuated, and the room never felt stuffy. Just a small suggestion: it would be even better if they could provide slippers or bathrobes for children.

It was okay. They made everyone leave the breakfast area after 10 AM, which felt a bit strict. Couldn't even sit and chat, which was a bit much.
