The underfloor heating broke on the first night. It wasn't working well when I checked in, but I didn't pay much attention to it. As a result, I woke up twice that night because it was so cold. From the WeChat messages, it seemed like the staff on duty knew my underfloor heating wasn't working. In the morning, I was so cold I couldn't get out of bed, and even under the covers, it was freezing. The staff member tinkered around in the room for a long time but didn't offer to change my room. Then another person was called to help, and only when they couldn't fix it did they ask if I wanted to wait for a technician to come or switch rooms. Their ability to resolve problems quickly is poor. What's even more puzzling is that the room they offered me was an 'upgrade' that was actually a downgrade from my original room. It felt like they were saying, 'I upgraded you, but if you're not happy, you can have your old room back.' Only after my repeated requests did they finally give me a room of the same category. I rarely leave reviews, but I caught a cold from being frozen, and the hotel acted as if nothing had happened regarding my freezing night.

The best decision I made during my trip to Suzhou was staying at the Yihe Songmao Residence. The hotel itself is nestled within the Pingjiang Road Historic and Cultural District, offering a tranquil and elegant atmosphere, brimming with Suzhou charm. The check-in experience was exceptional: The rooms were clean and tidy, and the facilities were well-maintained. What truly impressed me was the impeccable service – the front desk staff were warm, professional, and any issues were promptly resolved. The hotel also provided thoughtful shuttle services; the driver not only took us to nearby attractions but also offered friendly explanations along the way, making the experience absolutely perfect. The dining exceeded expectations: Breakfast was far from perfunctory; every dish was exquisitely prepared, and you could taste the freshness of the ingredients. Due to this wonderful impression, we even chose to have our lunch and dinner at the hotel restaurant. The restaurant environment was equally clean and comfortable, and the dishes were authentic and delicious – we could eat there for days without getting tired of it. In short, this is a boutique hotel that excels in 'environment, service, and dining.' I highly recommend it to all friends visiting Suzhou.

Excellent service and a great location! This hotel is truly unique. The only issue I found was that there was no place to hang hand towels or bath towels in the bathroom.

Traveling with my parents, the hotel thoughtfully arranged two rooms closest to the common areas for us. The room layout was excellent, and the facilities were convenient. Although the restaurant didn't have a vast selection of dishes, it was sufficient, and the food tasted great. The hotel's location is easily accessible by car directly to the entrance. Turning right outside brings you straight to Pingjiang Road Pedestrian Street. Driver Master Zhou also provides rides to nearby attractions and shares insights into Suzhou's history and unique characteristics.
