Haner Hotel (Suzhou Guanqian Street Pingjiang Road)

The room was great, and the customer service was very warm and helpful. I initially had trouble finding the place, but the staff patiently guided me. They even gave us tickets to a Pingtan show, which was a fantastic experience. The hotel is located right in the liveliest part of Pingjiang Road, making it super convenient for food, entertainment, and taking photos.

The hotel's location is in the core area of Pingjiang Road, and it's also very close to the Couple's Retreat Garden, within walking distance. It's a quiet oasis amidst the bustling crowds; while outside is swarming with people, the hotel itself is incredibly peaceful. The complimentary Pingtan (storytelling and ballad singing) performance was very professional, featuring both performance and commentary, along with tea and small snacks. The atmosphere was fantastic. Right behind the hotel is the Kunqu Opera Museum, but we went to the Zhuangyuan Mansion to listen to Kunqu in the evening, which wasn't far either, just a short walk. A major advantage of this hotel is its incredible convenience for sightseeing. You can truly experience the prosperity and charm of Pingjiang Road, and when you're tired, you can just return to the hotel to rest, then head back out to explore after recharging. There are many delicious eateries downstairs… It's very convenient for traveling with seniors and children. If I had to point out a downside, it's that the location is too central, making it difficult to get a taxi. We had a lot of luggage and had to push it through the crowds for about 500 meters to the main road before we could hail a taxi. It also felt like taxi drivers were reluctant to come to that area, probably because of the sheer number of people and traffic congestion. However, I noticed that the subway station is about the same distance (we saw the subway station not long after getting a taxi). For those traveling light or with backpacks, taking the subway would be more convenient.

My stay at Haner Hotel was very pleasant overall. The location is convenient for getting around, and the room was clean, tidy, and cozy. The bedding was soft and comfortable, and the soundproofing was excellent. The front desk staff were warm and attentive, responding promptly to requests. The facilities were comprehensive, and it offered great value for money. It's a top choice for a comfortable stay.

The service was just right, not overly intrusive, and the value for money far exceeded other hotels in the same category. The hotel breakfast was also pretty good, and tasty.

Overall, I'm quite satisfied! It's clean and tidy, and the location is excellent. They even gave my husband a small cake for his birthday! They were very helpful with his mobility issues, which was great. My whole family really liked it. We'll definitely book again next time!

You can even experience the beautiful tranquility of the street once all the crowds have dispersed. A heads-up: the hotel rooms lack USB charging ports, so remember to bring your own. The service is excellent; they'll even turn on the air conditioning in advance when they know you're arriving, ensuring you feel comfortable the moment you walk in. They also offer dining options and souvenirs, which is very convenient. Overall, it's a small place, but it perfectly encapsulates the charm and sophistication of Suzhou.

This time, my sister and I visited Suzhou again and booked this hotel 🏨. We stayed here last year, and both the environment and service were excellent! So, we chose to stay here again. The hotel 🏨 is conveniently located right on Pingjiang Road. After checking in, you also get two complimentary tickets to a Pingtan teahouse 🆓. Last time, we had a king-size room, and this time we got a twin room. There's even a rocking chair in the room that my sister found so comfortable she didn't want to go out sightseeing! The hotel 🏨 room rate includes breakfast, and both the braised pork noodles and braised beef noodles were delicious. After breakfast, we took a nice stroll along Pingjiang Road!

The room was very clean and the location was excellent, right next to a beautiful Jiangnan water town. It was also conveniently located near the filming site of the TV show 'All Is Well', and they even gave us tickets for a Pingtan show, just like the one Su Daqiang watched! The service was great, and the breakfast was delicious.
