Citadines Suzhou Jinji Lake

This hotel offers excellent value for money. It's right next to the subway, making it super convenient to get to any attraction for just a few dollars. The apartment allows cooking, and the windows offer great views. There's a lovely little garden terrace on the 4th floor, perfect for enjoying the breeze. Downstairs, there's a swimming and fitness area; although the pool isn't huge, it's quite clean. The views from the upper floors are absolutely stunning, really giving you a sense of being in the central core of Suzhou. There are plenty of supermarkets and dining options downstairs, and parking is free. Even though the hotel was built some time ago, the furniture and amenities are of very high quality. The wooden floors are spotless, the bedding is incredibly comfortable, and there's a smart toilet. They even provide laundry detergent for washing clothes, and the shower water pressure is fantastic. They even gave us a souvenir when we left. All in all, a very enjoyable trip!

Traveling to Suzhou alone, this hotel immediately elevated my impression of the city. From check-in to check-out, every staff member was incredibly welcoming and enthusiastic. The room was comfortable, clean, and odorless, and for the price, it was an excellent value for money. I'll definitely stay here again next time I visit! 😁

I've stayed here many times, and it's always a great experience. As a Trip.com member, I even got a room upgrade this time. I booked with breakfast included, and it was incredibly generous. Overall, it's excellent value for money. The breakfast offers both Western and Chinese options, and the taste is really good. The location is perfect, with Line 6 right downstairs, making it convenient to get anywhere.

The room is spacious. While the facilities aren't brand new, which is expected since it's not a newly opened hotel, the location is incredibly convenient. The Exit of Metro Line 6 is right outside, which is fantastic for tourists. Plus, there's a Hema Fresh supermarket right next to the hotel.

The facilities are outdated, and the TV doesn't support screen mirroring. The room is quite spacious (pretty much its only redeeming quality). My biggest complaint, however, is about the breakfast. It was a very quiet morning in the dining area, with about four or five tables occupied, and everyone was eating peacefully – you could mostly just hear the clinking of cutlery. Yet, the two staff members, a man and a woman, at the noodle and wonton station started loudly chatting about their kids' upcoming middle school exams from the moment we walked in. They were still talking when I went to order noodles. They kept up their loud conversation non-stop for the entire 30-40 minutes we were there for breakfast, and we could hear everything clearly, especially since their station is right in the middle of the dining room. Is this really the standard or expectation for a normal hotel breakfast? (We ate around 9:20 AM, so it wasn't a case of staff being off-duty after dining hours.)

The hotel is right next to the subway exit, which is super convenient. The room has an amazing view with a huge floor-to-ceiling window overlooking Suzhou University's East Campus. Downstairs, there's Vanke Meihua Plaza with lots of great food options!

The room was spacious and very clean. I booked it for a concert, and since all the hotels around the Olympic Sports Center were fully booked, I had to choose one a bit further away. However, it's very close to the subway station, which made getting to the Olympic Sports Center quite convenient. The only downside is that the facilities are a bit old, and the floor is too slippery, making it easy to slide even with slippers on. Plus, the microwave wasn't working. 😂

The hotel's location is excellent, right above a shopping mall, making dining and shopping incredibly convenient. The subway station is just outside, so getting anywhere is a breeze. Check-in at the front desk was super fast, and the staff were very friendly. The room was spacious and spotlessly clean, with comprehensive facilities, including a soundbar – perfect for relaxing with music after a day out. The panoramic floor-to-ceiling windows provided fantastic natural light; in the morning, pulling back the curtains let sunlight flood the entire room. Finally, the restaurant offers a wide variety of food, and the environment is very tidy, with tables being cleared quickly after guests finish. Overall, this hotel offers great value for money and is ideal for family trips. I'll definitely choose to stay here again next time I visit Suzhou!
