After booking, the host proactively contacted me with directions, making check-in a breeze. The guesthouse's location is excellent, close to the subway station and just two stops from Suzhou Railway Station, making it super convenient for getting around. The disposable bedding in the room gave me great peace of mind. Plus, the central air conditioning kept the room warm and cozy, even in winter. But the real highlight is the ambiance! The Japanese-style tatami rooms, complete with free yukatas for dressing up and taking photos, were absolutely perfect for some amazing shots!

The room was clean and tidy. I really loved the floor-to-ceiling window; opening the curtains let in a huge amount of sunlight. Plus, there was enough space to change outfits. Very satisfied!

I chose this B&B based on reviews, but it wasn't ideal. First, the price was quite good value for money, especially for a weekend; it was very economical. However, several points didn't meet expectations: 1. It's advertised as having opened 25 years ago, but the wear and tear on the facilities (especially the bathroom) looks much older than that! The bottom of the door frame was severely corroded, and the sealant around the sink was moldy. 2. As soon as I entered the room, there was an unidentified smell – cigarette smoke? Mold? 3. There were small pebbles laid out on the path leading to the tatami area. While they add to the ambiance, there was a lot of dirt between the stones, including hair strands and unknown debris. 4. Perhaps we just caught it on a windy day, but I could hear the howling wind all night long... it really affected my sleep. 5. The provided pillows were too low; stacking two made them too high, so I couldn't sleep comfortably. 6. The toothbrushes provided were of poor quality and shed bristles.

This guesthouse is an absolute gem! It's so conveniently located with a bus stop right outside, making it easy to get anywhere. The room is clean and tidy, and the bed is huge. Plus, there's a fridge available and you can even do laundry! I'm really happy with my stay!

My partner and I stayed at Rensheng Homestay while visiting Suzhou! The environment was beautiful and perfect for taking photos. There's an indoor bathtub, and they thoughtfully provided bath bombs and other amenities, adding a lot of romance. They even had kimonos available to wear! Upstairs, you can play Gomoku (five-in-a-row). The outdoor scenery was also lovely, and it's located in a shopping district, making it very convenient for dining and shopping. Highly recommended!
