Starway Hotel (Suzhou Shantang Street Guangji South Road Metro Station)

The hotel breakfast was fantastic with a wide variety of options. The location is also great, and the mattress was very comfortable. Plus, free parking is a definite bonus. The room cleanliness was excellent. [Strong][Strong][Strong]

Part of the HUAZHU Group, this hotel offers spotlessly clean, spacious rooms with no unpleasant odors. Its excellent location is also super easy to find, making for a fantastic overall experience. Check-in at the front desk was quick and efficient, and the hotel facilities are very comprehensive. A standout feature was the LG washing machines – being able to track their remaining time via a mini-program was incredibly convenient. The bed was also wonderfully comfortable. Definitely recommended for any trip!

A newly opened hotel, and being a Huazhu Group chain property, it offered the reliability I've come to expect, making it my preferred choice for travel. The front desk staff were very friendly and welcoming, and I even received a complimentary room upgrade. I stayed on the 6th floor, in a room facing the elevators, but it was surprisingly quiet. The laundry room was very convenient, equipped with two sets of washer-dryers; however, it's self-service and unsupervised. The overall environment was quiet and clean. While it's a bit of a walk to the subway station, a bus stop is conveniently located nearby. One suggestion for improvement would be to add an extra chair to the room. When there's a table by the sofa, having a second chair would allow two people to comfortably use the table together, which isn't really possible with the current setup. Also, there was no conditioner in the shower.

The room was great, there was free parking, and the service was excellent. We stayed for 3 days with our kids during the summer.
