This hotel is located right by Jinji Lake. The room was spacious and very clean. Since it was a weekday, it wasn't crowded, and the service was excellent. Five stars!

I didn't take any pictures of the room, but the cleanliness, environment, and location were all superb! You step right out to the fountain and the Gate of the Orient, and the night view is absolutely stunning. Transportation is also very convenient, with a subway nearby and taxis readily available. Highly recommend!

The location is superb, right next to Jinji Lake and the Gate of the Orient. The night views are stunning. The staff provided excellent service, and the breakfast was very rich and varied. We even caught the musical fountain light show during the Chinese New Year!

The front desk staff were incredibly warm and helpful. The hotel's location is absolutely fantastic, right by Jinji Lake and the Gate of the Orient.

Location is near to biggest mall of Suzhou and the Gate of Orient; right on the shore of lake. From the subway station , take exit 3 and once you go up and come out of the exit; turn left and walk straight along the lake until you see Starbucks then few steps further, there will be the hotel entrance. Don't expect much, decent hotel. My room didnt have a window; had some sewage odor. Also some noise of subway and noise of band singing from the bar nearby you will hear; but it was't that much problem for me. Breakfast mostly chinese dishes and not many varieties.

Overall, the experience was fantastic. The room was clean and tidy, the bedding was comfortable, and the service was warm and attentive. Excellent value for money. Our stay was perfect! The environment was elegant, the bed was incredibly comfortable, and the breakfast offered a wide variety of choices. The service was thoughtful throughout our entire visit!

The location is good, and the staff are friendly. The non-smoking room is truly non-smoking, which is really great. There are signs showing the way to entrance, but they are only in Chinese and not in English, which makes it a bit difficult to find if you don't understand Chinese.

The location is outstanding, easy access, near shopping mall and metro station. The service is great , especially my credit for Me Yang who is very kind to us, give service sincerely and genuinely. Definitely will come back again

The hotel's location is its best feature. It's right on the Jinji Lake boardwalk; you can step out of the hotel and be at the water show, which runs from 7:30 PM to 8:00 PM. It's also literally next to the Gate of the Orient. However, I had trouble finding the hotel entrance because it's in the basement, and Amap wasn't very helpful. Here are clearer directions: The nearest metro station is Dongfangzhimen. Take Exit 3 of the Dongfangzhimen metro station, turn left as you exit the station towards the boardwalk (which is more of a concrete/tiled path), and walk straight. Look for a Starbucks (shouldn't have to walk more than 5 minutes for this); the Ibis hotel is right next to it. You will need to take the stairs down to the basement (there is also an escalator a minute further along). The room itself was very basic and nothing special. The walls separating the bedroom and the bathroom had some very ugly stains that looked like they could have been easily cleaned with soap and water. It was unclear why no one had cleaned them, which was gross.

The hotel has a very nice location, just a short walk to Jinji Park. I enjoyed a relaxing night walk there — the cool wind and the peaceful atmosphere made it special. The surrounding buildings are beautifully lit at night, creating a vibrant and pleasant view. A great place to stay if you enjoy evening walks and a scenic city vibe.
