This hotel boasts an excellent location, right above a subway station, making travel incredibly convenient. The room offers outstanding views of Lion Mountain, and its spacious, open layout includes twin beds, a corner sofa, and a large desk, perfect for both relaxing and working. The bathroom is generously sized with panoramic floor-to-ceiling windows, allowing you to take in the entire Suzhou nightscape – it truly sets a wonderful, relaxing mood. On the downside, dining options nearby are limited; to experience authentic Suzhou cuisine, you'll need to venture into the city, as there are no traditional local eateries close by. The breakfast buffet is just average, with a limited selection of drinks and a frequently malfunctioning coffee machine. However, the Japanese breakfast is quite authentic, featuring onsen tamago, natto, soba noodles, and ochazuke, which are all quite good.

The hotel's location is excellent, right near the subway station, with several shopping malls nearby, making it convenient for both shopping and dining. The rooms are quite spacious, well-equipped, tastefully decorated yet practical, and very clean. The lobby staff are very friendly and efficient, and all the employees greet you politely. When we contacted the housekeeping center for anything, they responded quickly and provided excellent service. The hotel breakfast was decent, though the only downside was that some of the salad greens in the mixed vegetable salad were rotten and hadn't been properly cleaned, which was quite off-putting.

The hotel's facilities feel very well-maintained! It's a great choice if you're driving, as it's not far from Tiger Hill and Tianping Mountain. Getting to Shantang Street is a bit further though. The swimming pool exceeded my expectations! And the breakfast selection was incredibly rich!

Staying at Sishuan, the front desk intern, Ms. Cao, was absolutely lovely! Her sweet smile was like a rainbow after the rain. She proactively upgraded our room, which was such a pleasant surprise during the Dragon Boat Festival. The room was incredibly spacious with a whole wall of glass, perfect for enjoying the skyline during the day and overlooking the Shishan night view in the evening. Every picture I took turned out amazing! The separate shower and toilet, along with the Japanese bidet, were a dream for someone who appreciates details like me. Breakfast was fantastic and varied, with Japanese options like sushi, curry rice, and miso soup, as well as local Suzhou favorites like soup noodles and wontons. I can't wait to come back again!

It's only 3 km from the Sports Center Stadium, so even after watching a 'Super League' match, it's less than an hour's walk back. Plus, it's right next to Suzhou Museum West, Shishan Grand Theatre, Shishan Park sunken plaza, Golden Eagle shopping mall, and Longfor Tianjie, making it super convenient for sightseeing, dining, and shopping. 2. **Well-Maintained**: The hotel is over ten years old, but both the decor and furnishings are well-kept. It doesn't feel old or dated at all; it has a practical, business-like vibe. 3. **Excellent Service**: Everyone, from the receptionists and housekeeping staff to the restaurant team and security, is really nice. I'd especially like to mention Xiao Bai, who kindly upgraded my room – that made me so happy! In short, Hotel Nikko offers great value for money. I highly recommend it and will definitely stay here again.

During the Dragon Boat Festival holiday, I brought my family to stay at Hotel Nikko Suzhou. The hotel is conveniently located in the Huqiu district, right next to Shizishan Metro Station, making transportation easy. There are plenty of dining options nearby. Although the hotel shows its age a bit with slightly dated decor and facilities, it's well-maintained, upholding the standards of a seasoned star-rated hotel. We stayed in an Executive King Room. While the room wasn't large, the view from the 27th floor was excellent, especially the mesmerizing night view. The room has a distinct Japanese style, with efficient use of space throughout, making it convenient and clean. The complimentary afternoon tea and executive lounge benefits were nothing spectacular, but given the reasonable price of the room, we couldn't ask for more. As it's a Nikko hotel, the breakfast is a blend of Chinese and Japanese cuisine. The Chinese-style Suzhou noodles and Japanese curry and rich soups were particularly noteworthy. Finally, regarding the service, the hotel staff were attentive and thoughtful. Jiajia at the front desk was especially enthusiastic and professional during both check-in and check-out. Five-star rating for her!
