Boutique hotel located very close to Pinjia street. Room was incredible (best night’s sleep I’ve had in a long time). Huge space that tastefully mixed modern and traditional. Staff were extremely friendly and helpful. Wish I’d booked for longer. Highly recommend. 🌟🌟🌟🌟🌟

The hotel is located in Daru Alley, right next to Pingjiang Road, and has a lot of character. It features a charming small courtyard. The rooms are clean and tidy, and the service was also good.

Facilities: The hotel is a cleverly conceived dispersed boutique property, transformed from old Qing Dynasty residences. The facilities are comprehensive and well-appointed, ensuring a very comfortable stay. Cleanliness: The cleanliness was excellent. Environment: The setting is peaceful and quiet, providing a very comfortable and relaxing stay. Located right on Pingjiang Road Scenic Area, it's incredibly convenient for walking to major attractions such as the Humble Administrator's Garden, Lion Grove Garden, and Suzhou Museum. Service: Absolutely fantastic. We received a room upgrade and were even given a complimentary souvenir. The breakfast was also very good, with the hotel delivering it directly to the room for guests to enjoy in private.

The room was quite spacious, offering a comfortable stay. However, as it's an older building, the maintenance and upkeep of the facilities are somewhat limited. At 3 AM, my child ended up battling a giant centipede. Despite this, the service attitude was good, making it quite suitable for introverts.

I was very pleased with the room. However, the moment I stepped through the courtyard gate, I was completely taken aback! It truly had everything: pavilions, trees, and beautiful interplay of light and shadow, perfectly embodying the phrase 'small but perfectly formed'. It just so happened that it was a rainy day in Suzhou, and honestly, I didn't feel like stepping out at all. The following morning, as soon as the weather cleared, the staff promptly delivered breakfast right to our courtyard. Enjoying it there, under the blue sky, had a distinct and lovely charm. Overall, the experience was outstanding, and I'd love to visit again if the opportunity arises.

The service was excellent and incredibly attentive. While the staircase was a bit steep, a wonderfully thoughtful staff member even helped us carry our luggage down. The beautiful surroundings and subdued lighting created a fantastic ambiance, perfectly embodying its secluded and tranquil style.

The location is fantastic, very close to Pingjiang Road. It's a peaceful haven in a lively area, making it perfect for families and friends. Enjoying breakfast in the courtyard is a wonderful and relaxing experience. If you enjoy Pingtan (Suzhou traditional storytelling and ballad singing) or travel photography, you'll find many excellent choices nearby.

This hotel, housed in a former Qing Dynasty mansion, offers attentive front desk service. Its prime location right on Pingjiang Road makes it incredibly convenient for sightseeing and getting around. I'll definitely choose Gusu Xiaoyuan Duanshan Tang again on my next visit to Suzhou.

Great service, great location.

Well preserved heritage integrated with modern amenities, a great way to experience suzhou’s tradition. Five star services, kudos to front desk staff who are so caring and helpful. Our family of three, including our 2yo were well looked after!

The hotel is located right on Pingjiang Road, offering easy access, and you can drive directly to it. The room was well-equipped, and the air conditioning was colder than my ex-girlfriend's heart! The wardrobe and fridge were tucked away in concealed compartments, which took a little exploring to find. Very satisfied, I'd definitely stay here again.

A very unique hotel.

It was already midnight when we arrived at the hotel, but the staff gave us a very warm welcome. The building is nearly a century old, yet its facilities are surprisingly modern. We had to leave in a hurry in the morning and didn't get a chance to truly take in the hotel's atmosphere. We'd love to come back and fully experience it next time!

Great location right next to Pingjiang Road, with plenty of dining options nearby. The service was excellent, breakfast was delivered to the room, and everything was very clean.
