Honestly, the sewer smell was unbearable. The only solution they offered was a bottle of air freshener. The odor was so strong that we had to keep the window open all night, even though it was snowing.

The hotel is right on Pingjiang Road, which makes getting around super convenient. It's really close to Humble Administrator's Garden, Lion Grove Garden, and Suzhou Museum, and there are plenty of great places to eat and drink nearby. The service was excellent, and our room was spotless and thoughtfully decorated. However, in room 215 where I stayed, there was intermittent banging from a neighboring business until 2 AM one night. While it's not really the hotel's fault, the soundproofing isn't great.

We were looking forward to our stay here and suffice to say, it did not disappoint. Location was great and it's located along Pingjiang Road. It made for a very convenient stroll at anytime of the day. We wanted to experience the street at its busiest to the quiet in the middle of the night once shops close and tourists leave. The sound of light footsteps and wheels rolling against cobbled path during the break of dawn to lightly stir you from your sleep were strangely soothing and nice to wake up to. Pillows were a lil soft to our liking but each to their own. We had a great stay nonetheless.
