Shangri-La Hotel, Suzhou Yuanqu

The Executive Lounge service was excellent. The afternoon tea, happy hour, and breakfast were all very good. You could order à la carte for breakfast. While the afternoon tea selection wasn't huge, it was sufficient, and the happy hour dinner was also quite extensive.

The hotel's design blends modern sophistication with traditional charm. The lobby features a grand decorative screen with a dark blue lacquered background, adorned with mother-of-pearl (luodian) inlay depicting plum blossoms. Several young women and men in red and green attire add to the luxurious and elegant ambiance! The hotel environment is incredibly atmospheric and offers a very comfortable stay. This time, I stayed in a Deluxe Club Room, which was very spacious and comfortable. The Executive Lounge area is quite large, with three distinct sections to choose from. They offer a semi-buffet breakfast, afternoon tea, and happy hour, all with a wide variety of delicious and well-prepared dishes. The butlers, Lyra and Winwin, along with the other staff, were all very professional, warm, and polite. They were quick to respond to any inquiries or last-minute requests, and many small service details made us feel truly cared for. The heated pool was also clean and well-serviced. With excellent facilities and warm service, we had a very comfortable stay without even needing to leave the hotel. Highly satisfied! 👍

I booked the Shangri-La for my birthday this year. I usually travel around my birthday every year, but this was by far the best experience. The hotel prepared decorations, wine, fruit, and snacks, which was a wonderful surprise as soon as I entered the room. Later, they also sent a birthday cake to my room, which made me very happy. I'll definitely come back to stay here again. A huge thank you to the hotel! The hotel's location is also excellent, right by Jinji Lake.

The room was clean, spacious, and well-appointed. The front desk staff were warm and polite. The Shangri-La's in-house breakfast buffet is one of the better ones among high-end hotels, unlike some so-called luxury hotels where breakfast is outsourced to a contractor. Breakfast is a key experience at a good hotel.

The room decor is exquisite and stylish, and the elevated city view provides a sense of tranquility. The fitness facilities are top-notch, and the pool is exceptionally clean. It's highly recommended, and I'll definitely come back to experience it again.

The room was spotless, and the connecting rooms were incredibly convenient. Breakfast offered a wide variety of choices. There's direct access to a shopping mall on the 2nd floor, and a Starbucks and a small convenience store right next door. A larger mall isn't far either. The transportation is excellent. We absolutely loved the ice cream on the 1st floor and had it every single night.

Had a wonderful stay, very satisfied! I contacted the hotel before checking in, and Yvonne was incredibly helpful and arranged the room setup perfectly. All the hotel staff were very friendly; even with the summer holidays being busy, their service standards didn't drop. The location is excellent, very close to the Olympic Sports Center, and there's a subway station nearby, which is super convenient. Highly recommend!
