Suzhou City Holiday Hotel (Shiquan Street Wangshi Garden)

The room service was great and the room was clean. The whole place was equipped with Xiaomi's smart home system. We happened to experience Typhoon White Dolphin during our stay, and our clothes would get soaked as soon as we stepped outside. Luckily, the hotel had free washing machines and dryers, which was very convenient. Not bad at all.

As a food lover, my top priority when visiting Suzhou is to stay somewhere with plenty of good food nearby, and Suzhou City Holiday Hotel perfectly met that need! It's just a few minutes' walk to Shiquan Street, where you'll find all sorts of Suzhou snacks, coffee shops, and unique restaurants, big and small – perfect for stepping out for a bite anytime. The front desk even recommended some local snack spots that authentic locals frequent, helping us avoid the long queues at internet-famous places, and the food was genuinely delicious. The room was clean and tidy, allowing us to relax and rest after a day of sightseeing and eating. The bathroom had a dry/wet separation and was impeccably cleaned. The air conditioning worked very well, making our summer stay comfortable. We often stayed out late, and the hotel's 24-hour front desk made us feel very secure coming and going. After checking out, we were able to store our luggage, allowing us to continue exploring and eating for the rest of the day without any hassle. The hotel's overall environment is quiet, and the service is thoughtful and attentive. Location, cleanliness, and service are all top-notch. For tourists who love to explore and eat, choosing this hotel is a no-brainer – it's definitely on my list for future Suzhou stays! 🥳🥳

This was my second stay at the Urban Holiday Hotel Suzhou, and the experience was just as excellent as before – it definitely deserves a full five-star rating. I stayed here on my first visit to Suzhou and loved it so much that I didn't hesitate to book it again this time. The location remains its biggest highlight: it's close to the subway, and Shiquan Street and all the major gardens are nearby, making sightseeing, dining, and exploring incredibly convenient. The front desk staff even remembered a question I asked during my previous stay, and their service was as warm and attentive as ever. The room cleanliness standards are consistently high; each cleaning is thorough, the bedding is soft, and the facilities are well-maintained with no signs of age or damage. The soundproofing is reliable, making for a very quiet night's sleep. For those driving, there's still free parking available, so you don't have to search for a spot. When I needed an item delivered during my stay, the front desk sent it up very quickly. The service isn't overly enthusiastic but just right, making you feel comfortable. Compared to many hotels in Suzhou, this one's overall quality consistently ranks among the best. I've already recommended it to friends planning trips to Suzhou, and I'll definitely be back on my next visit to Gusu.

There's also a beautiful park close by, perfect for an evening stroll after dinner. After three days, my whole family felt comfortable and the elders repeatedly praised the hotel. The cleaning staff were also very diligent every day, replenishing water promptly. The room facing the residential area was very quiet for sleeping. It has smart home features throughout and is very close to Shiquan Street, which has lots of delicious food and great shops. It's also super close to the subway station! The only downside is that the Wi-Fi can be a bit unstable at times, so if you have anything urgent, it's better to use a hotspot.

The bus stop right across the street offers direct routes to scenic spots like Pingjiang Road and Humble Administrator's Garden, and the subway station is just a few minutes' walk away. The rooms are spacious, clean, and tidy, and the overall feel is quite new. They feature AI services – just call out "Xiao Du" (the AI assistant's name). The front desk staff are very enthusiastic and accommodating; they provided a sewing kit when a button fell off and disposable chopsticks for mixing medicine. The lobby even has a coffee machine with beans for guests to brew their own coffee. The laundry room and gym are bright and spacious. The housekeeping aunties are incredibly friendly; they clean the rooms thoroughly and provide several bottles of purified water daily, with more available upon request. If I visit Suzhou again, I would definitely choose this hotel.
