The hotel's location is fantastic. It's just a two-minute walk from the entrance to Pingjiang Road Pedestrian Street, which is super convenient for enjoying the night views and then popping in for coffee in the morning. The hotel lobby has an elegant, classic Chinese style, and the automatic doors are quite grand. They also offer a wide selection for both Chinese and Western breakfast, and free parking is a great bonus.

A charming B&B right on Pingjiang Road. Not only can you shop and get your makeup done, but you can also enjoy Pingtan storytelling. I'll definitely be back and have already recommended it to friends.

Got a complimentary room upgrade, and the room was absolutely charming with a strong Suzhou character, making it feel like I was staying in a classical garden. All the cups were sealed in plastic, and the linens were excellent. The hotel itself can arrange a canal night tour with pick-up and drop-off service, which was very convenient. The location is quite close to Pingjiang Road, but it's a bit of a walk to Humble Administrator's Garden and Suzhou Museum.

The environment and service were excellent, and the garden design was a nice touch. The location is superb, within walking distance to Pingjiang Road, Baitapark Lotus Market, Suzhou Museum, and Humble Administrator's Garden. The breakfast was also very rich and satisfying.

Five stars are good, but I'd give it six! First, let's talk about the location: Suzhou's old town is absolutely packed on weekends, so a good hotel location is crucial for an enjoyable trip. Exit the hotel and turn right, and Pingjiang Road is just 50 meters away. Go another kilometer, and you'll find the Lotus Market at Baitai Park and the Flower and Bird Market on Pishi Street—all showcasing the best of old Suzhou. After parking at the hotel, the best way to explore is to rent an electric scooter. Feel the breeze through your hair under the trees. Within a 5-kilometer radius, you can reach almost 90% of old Suzhou's attractions. It's pure bliss! Room facilities: If there's one minor drawback, it's that the hardware is a bit older. But then again, with such a great location and this level of service, it wouldn't be this price if it hadn't been open for a while. So, in a way, it's just the other side of the coin. Of course, the hotel has made many efforts, such as installing Washlets later on, and the linens are well-maintained. What's particularly amazing are the hotel's teas—they're truly excellent. Breakfast: Absolutely a bonus! You must try the Cifan Tuan (sticky rice rolls), sweet with preserved mustard greens—the texture is simply first-rate. The young man making the rice rolls was also very kind, chatting as if with family. It seems they also have a seasonal dish recommendation among the stir-fries. On the day I visited, it was edamame with water bamboo, which was incredibly tender. Finally, the overall service: The staff at the front desk, both the young men and women, were excellent. It was hot, and I appreciate their thoughtful service.

The hotel is located within a park, so the surroundings and scenery are quite nice. It's also very close to Pingjiang Road and has parking available. The room facilities are a bit old, the shower drain was a bit clogged, and the duvet felt a little damp. Perhaps because it's in a park with many trees, there were some small mosquitoes in the room. I hope they can improve pest control and duvet cleaning next time, then it would be perfect. The air conditioner was a bit noisy and affected my sleep. Other than that, everything else was good.

The room was spacious, clean, and hygienic. The staff were warm, friendly, and provided excellent service. The breakfast was plentiful and delicious, with many local specialties. The hotel's own garden, 'Ban Yuan' (Half Garden), was a definite bonus; though small, it had its own unique charm.

I've stayed here before. It's right on Pingjiang Road. The environment is impeccable, with a small garden, Half Garden, right inside the hotel. However, the facilities are a bit old-fashioned, and the floor has some uneven spots. There's room for improvement in the service. Moving luggage around the hotel is inconvenient due to the old-style cobblestone paths and a steep ramp leading to the upper floors. On the other hand, the price is very affordable, and they include complimentary cruise tickets for a scenic area, which are quite valuable.
