Stayed overnight after hiking Wanshan. The hotel's hot spring facilities were under maintenance, and the room amenities felt a bit old. Overall hygiene was decent. It seems more suitable for seniors. The lobby was quite spacious, and there were many farm-to-table restaurants nearby, perfect for a stroll. Missed out on the mini wontons at breakfast because I arrived after 9:30 AM. It seems rooms with good views aren't available for booking externally; I noticed them while walking around.

A 10-minute walk to Wangshan, convenient parking. The hotel facilities are a bit old, but the staff are very enthusiastic. The lobby coffee smells great. There are monkeys in the resort's large bamboo forest, and the peacock garden on the first floor is also nice. It's a great place to relax.

This was my second stay at the HuanXiu Resort and Spa. The location is peaceful yet not too far from the attraction of the city. One o my favorite things to do was to walk the bamboo grove path where you are surrounded by beautiful bamboo trees. You’re just a walk away from the Wangshan Scenic area where you can find a few local places to eat as well as several scenic areas with historic structures and water features.

This hotel charges more than even Shangri-La, but it's a rip-off. They market themselves as a natural hot spring hotel, yet the hot springs and swimming pool are all closed. Despite this, they still charge as if all facilities are available, which is outrageous. Even worse, they turned off the air conditioning in the middle of the night, and we woke up freezing in the dead of winter. The staff had the nerve to claim there was a problem with the AC settings. This hotel is truly evil! They're openly deceiving customers. Book with caution.

The hotel advertised itself as having hot springs, but after checking in, we were informed that the hot spring boiler – yes, the hot spring boiler – was undergoing maintenance, and the swimming pool was also closed. So, for over 800 a night, the facilities turned out to be a mirage, completely fictitious. Ctrip seems to be misleading customers, and the hotel is trying to pull a fast one. But that's not even the worst of it. What's even more infuriating is that they turned off the air conditioning in the middle of the night. I woke up freezing in the dead of winter. Staff kept coming to my room, trying to con me by asking if I felt warmer, as if their hotel's temperature relies on guests' perceived warmth. This hotel is truly awful, even malicious!

Overall, the hotel service was excellent, especially the front desk staff. They were proactive and friendly. Xiao Wang even took the initiative to introduce the hotel facilities, as well as nearby tourist attractions and routes. The breakfast had a rich variety and good quality. Here are a few areas for improvement: 1. The room lacked body lotion and conditioner. 2. The Chinese restaurant now uses WeChat for ordering. Guests aren't clear about the portion sizes. I hope the hotel staff can double-check with guests when taking orders. We ordered two bowls of noodles, and they turned out to be two huge bowls, far too much to finish.

The room was a bit old, but the surroundings were lovely, and there were even peacocks! We went as a family of three with a child, and our little one really enjoyed it. The only downside was the bathroom, which was just average, and the shower water pressure was very low.

Beautiful hotel located in Suzhou. It’s quiet and surrounded by lots of lush greenery. There’s a hot spring with over 20 different pools to enjoy. My favourite was the red wine and rose petal hot spring. Service was outstanding and staff were super attentive. Lots of activities for kids to enjoy on the premises as well.

The place is really lovely. It is located within a bamboo forest and is a reasonable distance from a hiking path. The front desk, Xiao Ling, was very helpful and caring. The place is very good for escaping from the city, only 20 minutes drive from the old town. It is silent, with a beautiful view of the mountains. The exterior and some facilities at the hot spring are a bit old but absolutely clean and comfortable. The hot spring after the full day of hiking was fun and relaxing. I will go again for a relaxing weekend!

Such a lovely, quiet place for a nice getaway. Really enjoyed being surrounded by nature! The hotel took itself was very comfortable. Equipped with a shower and a bath tub which we absolutely enjoyed! We were a little disappointed that the swimming pool wasn't open. The weather was perfect for a dip. The hot springs aren't the best we've been to either. They were alright. We're especially thankful to Lily for all of her help and service at the hotel 🌸

Beautiful hotel with lovely bamboo forests. It is very quiet and green. The breakfast had a nice variety. It’s the perfect little getaway.

Perfect getaway for a weekend. Nice hiking routes nearby. Surrounded by proper nature. Quietness is something special.

My family stayed here for a relaxing weekend away. We had a wonderful time at the hot springs and the room even came with some tickets for horse riding, which my son loved. IT has a very serene atmosphere, and there is a cute little town an easy walking distance. We will be back!

Great location and hot springs. Friendly staff. Very good authentic Suzhou restaurant. Clean and fresh air. AC did not work, but I was given extra water and advised to keep the balcony open which worked well.
