I stayed for two nights and the hotel upgraded my room, so I had a very comfortable sleep. The package I booked through Trip.com included one complimentary dinner, which was larger than expected and tasted great – definitely enough for two people. I highly recommend dining at the hotel's restaurant; I ate there twice, and every dish was excellent, with no disappointments. Plus, we got to watch four peacocks outside the window while we ate! The braised pork noodles for breakfast were also delicious. The hotel has its own coffee bar, and a freshly brewed latte costs only 20, which is quite a bargain. The staff were all very polite. When I checked out, they even offered to help me load my luggage into the car.

The hotel service was excellent! They offered complimentary fruit upon check-in and even upgraded our room. On-site parking was free for guests, and I noticed many families from Shanghai (license plates starting with '沪A') were there for a relaxing stay. The room was quite spacious, and having a balcony with a table and chairs was perfect for my daughter to enjoy takeout outside (to avoid any lingering food smells indoors!). There were quite a few mosquitoes and flies this season, but the room was equipped with a mosquito repellent liquid, so it wasn't an issue – I didn't get bitten at all. Oh, and the Suzhou-style red soup noodles at breakfast were delicious! The restaurant staff were also very friendly (though I'd suggest they keep their voices down when guests are present and communicate privately, as it would enhance the guest experience). Overall, we had a very pleasant two-day stay in Wangshan~

The facilities are just okay, and room cleaning wasn't very thorough. They only emptied the trash, but didn't even clean the floor. The Chinese restaurant was the worst — the food was bad and overpriced. Visited Shangfang Mountain (Suzhou Botanical Garden) and it was definitely worth it. The floral arrangements in the park felt like they were designed by an international horticulture master. Stayed at the Huanshuxiaozhu Resort Hotel, and the overall environment was excellent. Especially grateful to the front desk for upgrading us to a room in the Shanyu Building. After a tiring day sightseeing at Shangfang Mountain, we decided to have dinner at the Chinese restaurant. Unexpectedly, we were thoroughly impressed by the dishes (though if I had to find a fault, it would be that they're a bit pricey, but certainly not the kind that leaves you thirsty afterward).

Stayed overnight after hiking Wanshan. The hotel's hot spring facilities were under maintenance, and the room amenities felt a bit old. Overall hygiene was decent. It seems more suitable for seniors. This was my second stay at the HuanXiu Resort and Spa. The location is peaceful yet not too far from the attraction of the city. One o my favorite things to do was to walk the bamboo grove path where you are surrounded by beautiful bamboo trees. You’re just a walk away from the Wangshan Scenic area where you can find a few local places to eat as well as several scenic areas with historic structures and water features.

Came here for the May Day holiday, so it was quite busy, but the service was still good and the hotel was very clean. We could walk to Jiulongtan in about half an hour from the back entrance, which the kids really enjoyed. We'd love to come back for a weekend when the weather is nicer.

I was very satisfied with this stay, especially the hotel's service, which made me feel right at home. As soon as I entered the hotel, a lovely lady proactively helped me with my luggage. Special mention goes to Xiao Ling at the front desk, who provided excellent service. She even helped carry my bags to the room and offered information on touring routes. The only minor drawback was that the lobby was too noisy during lunch. While the food was delicious, the noise did affect my dining experience. Everything else was great!

This hotel charges more than even Shangri-La, but it's a rip-off. They market themselves as a natural hot spring hotel, yet the hot springs and swimming pool are all closed. The hotel advertised itself as having hot springs, but after checking in, we were informed that the hot spring boiler – yes, the hot spring boiler – was undergoing maintenance, and the swimming pool was also closed. Overall, the hotel service was excellent, especially the front desk staff. They were proactive and friendly. Xiao Wang even took the initiative to introduce the hotel facilities, as well as nearby tourist attractions and routes. The breakfast had a rich variety and good quality.
