The room was clean and tidy, and the bed was incredibly comfortable. The service attitude was excellent, and responses were very prompt. The location is super convenient, making getting around a breeze. Overall, the experience was fantastic – it's my top choice for accommodation when traveling. William provided excellent service!

The service was exceptional, very warm and thoughtful. I enjoyed the peaceful courtyard and bamboo forest. The room was spacious, and closing the connecting door between the bedroom and bathroom made for a quiet sleep. The restaurant was also great; I had dinner at the hotel, and the stir-fried shrimp and lion's head meatballs were both authentic and delicious.

Our stay at Kimpton last year was fantastic, so when we decided to visit Suzhou with our little one at the tail end of the holiday, we knew we had to choose Kimpton again. I contacted our butler, Cherry, in advance to arrange kids' toiletries, and they even prepared a thoughtful welcome fruit platter! Upon arrival, we booked a table at the hotel's restaurant, Zhuquxuan, and were pleasantly surprised to learn it's a Black Pearl One-Diamond establishment – we were so excited! With limited appetites for just two of us, we ordered a few dishes, and each one was amazing, especially the beef short ribs and the snow crab with handmade rice cakes! Absolutely divine! Even our child exclaimed, "This is so delicious!" The room itself was as clean and tidy as before, making for a very comfortable and pleasant stay! It's also conveniently located near all the main attractions. Our child declared, "Next time we come to Suzhou, we're only staying at Kimpton!" Haha, looks like they were thoroughly impressed!

This time, I stayed in a courtyard room, which came with its own private courtyard, offering a truly delightful experience. Sitting leisurely in the courtyard, enjoying the evening breeze, and soaking in the unique tranquility of a Suzhou-style garden, I could immerse myself in the charm of Jiangnan without even leaving the room. The ambiance was absolutely perfect. The interior of the room was spacious and well-equipped with all amenities, making for a very comfortable stay overall. Although I encountered a few minor issues during my stay, the hotel staff were incredibly enthusiastic. Upon receiving my feedback, they responded promptly and proactively, efficiently helping to coordinate and resolve the problems with patient communication. I could genuinely feel the hotel's sincerity towards its guests. These small hiccups did not detract from my overall stay experience. Cherry also thoughtfully sent a message of comfort. The hotel's garden environment is elegant, with white walls and bamboo shadows, making every corner a picturesque view. Strolling through the grounds in my free time was incredibly relaxing. The breakfast offered a rich variety, and the Suzhou-style noodles were authentic and delicious. The hardware facilities are excellent, and the service is genuinely warm. Overall, the comprehensive experience was great, and the minor flaws did not overshadow the positives. Even with a small incident along the way, the staff's proactive attitude in handling it significantly increased my favorable impression. The next time I visit Suzhou, I will definitely choose Kimpton Bamboo Grove Hotel again.

From the abundant natural light and the pleasant views outside to the complete and well-equipped indoor facilities, everything exceeded our expectations. We had a comfortable and relaxing stay, and the overall experience was fantastic. I highly recommend choosing this room type. It's also right next to Universal Plaza, offering a wide array of dining options. The hotel has a Chinese bamboo forest theme, but the guest room building itself doesn't try too hard to be ancient; the modern architectural style blends perfectly with the bamboo groves and water features. The decor is new, and the hardware, like the bathrooms and TVs, is high-end. The soundproofing in the rooms is excellent. The gym is fantastic, fully equipped, and even has a small swimming pool. Service is warm and welcoming. There's ample staff in the lobby, and they're very attentive with luggage and guiding guests during check-in. During my stay, I needed assistance with the bidet, and the repair process and response showed clear training. The first round of drinks and alcohol in the room is complimentary. A typhoon disrupted my plans, and the hotel even provided free breakfast. Breakfast was excellent. The food tasted great, and there was a wide selection (they even had young coconuts!). The freshly made dishes at the live stations were impressive, and the coffee was above average. It's a pet-friendly hotel; the room numbers are cute little cat paw signs. The lobby's working 'concierge dog' is an 85-pound, 3-year-old 'pig-puller' named Kelly, who is incredibly gentle. Both kids and adults can pet her as much as they like.

The bedding is soft and skin-friendly, ensuring a comfortable sleep that really helps relieve travel fatigue. The hotel's service has always been top-notch, which is a major reason why I keep coming back. My butler, Cherry, provided attentive care throughout my stay, always available on WeChat to check in and respond promptly to any requests. Her service was meticulous and heartwarming. The hotel itself is designed in the style of a classical Suzhou garden, with beautiful scenery at every turn, making for a pleasant stroll. The breakfast offers a wide variety of options, and the local Suzhou specialties are very authentic. Overall, I had a very satisfying stay. The tranquil environment amidst the bustling city, coupled with the thoughtful and attentive service, makes it an excellent choice for a vacation in Suzhou. I'm already looking forward to my next visit to Bamboo Grove!

Staying at the Kimpton Bamboo Grove Hotel, part of the InterContinental group, was a fantastic experience overall. The hotel's new Chinese aesthetic really resonated with me – the white walls and dark tiles, paired with the central water feature, and the bamboo shadows and sheer curtains visible around every corner of the corridors, make for stunning photos that capture both the charm of Jiangnan and modern elegance. The hotel is ideally located at 168 Zhuhui Road. It's just a five-minute walk to the Master of the Nets Garden, and a short stroll through the alleys leads you to Shiquan Street, making sightseeing, shopping, and dining incredibly convenient. Being close to Metro Line 5 also makes public transportation easy and hassle-free. For those driving, there's an underground garage available, with charging points for new energy vehicles – just scan a QR code at the front desk when you need to use them. Despite being in the heart of the old city, the hotel is surprisingly quiet, truly offering a vibrant outside world and peaceful sanctuary within, much like a private garden. The room hygiene was impeccable, and the hardware facilities were top-notch. After a tiring day of exploring, returning to the room and soaking in the large bathtub was the perfect way to unwind and relieve all the travel fatigue – pure bliss! The butler, Anbo, provided exceptionally thoughtful service. He added me on WeChat upon check-in and sent incredibly detailed tips, and even helped arrange a late check-out. The attention to detail was outstanding. I will definitely be staying here again on my next visit to Suzhou!
