This hotel is perfect for a weekend staycation! It's super quiet and the lake view is absolutely stunning. I even got to watch fireworks from my window. I also made sure to wake up early and take a walk downstairs.

It was the 3rd visit with my family for the new year. As always the fireworks were amazing at the right time. We had a good time again. But there were some points that made us a little bit uncomfortable during the stay. The toilet in the bathroom had disgusting smell. It looked clean but the smell was not really good. Maybe they need to clean the ground better. I And the security in the swimming pool made us another unpleasant. My children (17 & 15 years) were playing the ball and we are the only swimmers playing in the pool. And he said no play allowed. I didn’t understand why. And he was watching his phone all the time. If he explained why and ask my children play carefully, I fully understand but just stop them. It ruined our mood completely. I would not come again.

Beautiful hotel near the lake , clean, good breakfast , friendly staff . The rooms facing the lake are really nice.

Last year I stayed at the nearby East Taihu Hotel. This year I tried the Le Meridien. As soon as I entered the lobby I saw the beautiful lake view. The room was large and the facilities were very good. It was my first time staying here. I upgraded to a lake view room. It was super good. There were not many types of food in the morning, but there were enough to eat. The service was also very good. I will come again next time

The room is great, with a large lake view, and the view is particularly good~ It is very suitable for a holiday here to lie down The hotel has an underground parking lot, and parking is free; There are bicycles for rent downstairs, and you can ride around the lake~ The waiters are also very friendly. I saw some bad reviews on Ctrip. After staying there, I don't really understand how these bad reviews were given. Of course there are areas for improvement, but it's not bad enough to warrant a bad review. advantage 1. The environment is really good. You can take your kids out for a walk without leaving the hotel. There are cycling, camping, playgrounds, and tennis courts. The managers are very nice. 2. Hygiene and services are as expected. 3. I accidentally sprained my ankle, and they provided great help. Every staff member was polite and friendly. Responding quickly, we stumbled upon a staff meeting, and Mr. Chen’s fireworks were very beautiful. 4. The noodles for breakfast are really delicious. 5. Although there is no disposable bath bag, the disinfection work is very serious What can be improved 1. My child had a rhinitis attack and rubbed his nose all night. I also have a sensitive constitution and experienced nasal congestion all night. This is most likely caused by the air or dust mites on the bedding. 2. At the breakfast buffet, only the noodle stall was occupied. 3. The swimming pool environment is relatively cold. 4. Within 2 hours of driving from Shanghai, my favorite place is definitely East Taihu Lake. I took my family to East Taihu Lake for a vacation after the May Day holiday. This is also my third time staying at Le Meridien. The front desk lady Fan enthusiastically upgraded my mother-in-law and mother to a lake view room for free (the other garden view room also has a great view). The dishes in the executive lounge are also very good. The two 86-year-old elderly people were very satisfied with my travel arrangements and praised the beautiful scenery, good service and excellent dishes of the hotel I arranged for them to stay in. Book 2 nights with Ctrip and get 2 breakfasts for free, but Ctrip doesn't have Marriott points. IHG does. But I can't log into the Marriott App. 60-minute travel photography experience (with 3 refined electronic photos): I don't know why this is available everywhere, but it never beats taking photos by myself. 😓
