Fast Hotel Svolvær Reviews

I had been hiking for a week so thought I’d spend a bit of extra money for a nice stay, however when I got there my room didn’t appear to have been cleaned. The bathroom had a damp towel scrunched in the sink and dirty marks around the basin and tap. The bin in the bedroom has also not been emptied and was full of rubbish. When I tried to close the curtain at night, the rod fell down and I had to climb on a chair to put it back up. The location was great and the sushi downstairs was amazing. I am not usually one to complain when things aren’t perfect but I didn’t receive any response when I contacted the hotel via email to ask for a clean towel, and after paying that price for a night in a nice room after a long week, I expected to be able to enjoy the facilities or receive some kind of help when I reached out. I am now staying in cheaper accommodation which is honestly nicer (with a clean room, towel, and heating) and great public showers nearby.

There's no service to review since it's fully self-service. I needed a password to check in, but it hadn't been sent by 8 PM that night, which made me really anxious. Thankfully, Trip.com kept coordinating things. The location is super convenient, right in the town center, directly across from the pier. The supermarket and restaurants are all within walking distance. Most importantly, the hot water for showers is guaranteed, which definitely deserves a shout-out!

The room was very clean and quite spacious. I could easily open my suitcase, and the large desk was really practical for holding a lot of food. A pleasant surprise was having a small fridge, perfect for storing eggs, milk, yogurt, and meat.

Excellent convenience and spacious

I didn't give it one star because, for the price in Svolvær... well, never mind. Cleanliness: A bit poor, felt like there were bed bugs. I got bitten 😭 Service: Non-existent... If you're not on a super tight budget, seriously, don't stay here. If your budget is really, really limited, then it's okay, just be careful not to get bitten 😂

The room was quite small, but the hygiene was acceptable. It was fairly convenient for going out and shopping.

Check in was smooth but the access code was sent very close to check in time, creating some anxiety. The room was clean. The only one with a balcony was very nice. Amenities were scant, only 2 bath towers and no other tower. The small fridge is useful, as is the tea kettle. The furniture arrangement was sensible  making good use of the small space. Overall good experience.

The room was clean and well-equipped with all necessary facilities. It's very close to the city center and not too far from the airport, making transportation very convenient. This makes it a great choice for solo travelers. Overall, it offers excellent value for money.

The hotel is clean and comfortable. The price is reasonable. However, there is no front desk so sometimes it can be a hassle if you need assistance.

Great location. Decent price. Very easy to check-in. No baggage storage service.
