The Delight Swakopmund

The best place to stay whilst visiting Swakopmund. The staff is very friendly and very welcoming. The place is clean. The food is great,they even serve mimosas for breakfast haha… You will not regret staying here at all.

I loved staying at the Delight. Such great service, breathtaking interior, spacious rooms in a stunning retro marine style with a SMEG fridge!!!! Just WOW! The breakfast buffet was huge, so many options even for vegans, I was baffled...

I absolutely love my stays at The Delight. From the moment I arrive, the staff greet me by name and make me feel genuinely welcomed—it’s not just service, it’s care. There’s a real sense of family here, which is rare to find when traveling. The rooms are consistently clean, comfortable, and well-maintained, with reliable air conditioning that makes a big difference after a long day. Every detail feels thoughtfully taken care of. What truly sets this place apart is the staff. They go above and beyond to ensure everything is just right, always with warmth and professionalism. Whether it’s helping with requests or just checking in to make sure you’re comfortable, they make the experience personal. The bar is also a great spot to unwind with a relaxed atmosphere, good drinks, and a perfect way to end the day. If you’re looking for a place where you’re treated like more than just a guest, The Delight is it. I wouldn’t stay anywhere else.

Large room and ensuite bathroom. Pleasant garden walkway linking the rooms with lounge/bar/reception/restaurant. Close to local shops and amenities. Short walk to beach and beach- side restaurants. But, but, but…. The breakfast spread is exceptional! The chef prepares waffles/pancakes etc etc. Huge selection - breads, pastries, muffins, yoghurt, fruit etc etc etc

We stayed here whilst visiting Swakopmund, its a cozy little place, nice rooms, convenient location and quite pleasant overall. Definately good value for money, rooms are clean. The noise can be a bit loud as its right by a main road. Service was decent.

Delight Swakopmund on kaikin puolin kelpo hotelli. Jääkaappi huoneessa oli siinä kuumuudessa tosi iloinen yllätys!!
