"A very stylish guesthouse! The interior and exterior design is comfortable and relaxing! Thoughtful attention to detail and taste are evident in many small spaces! Multiple photo spots, very beautiful! The room feels spacious, and the owner even upgraded me to a suite. A 150-year-old tree outside the window adds a touch of artistry to the room! Breakfast offers both Chinese and Western options, and the coffee is also very good! The location is very close to Nanhua Chan Temple, and there are many local farmhouses nearby, making it very convenient! The service was attentive, and overall I was very satisfied. The experience provided by this guesthouse is well worth the price! If I had to find a fault, it might be that the hot water in the bathroom was slightly unstable, but overall it doesn't affect my overall evaluation of this guesthouse!"

"We were tired on the way back, so we took a break. I saw this place online and thought it looked nice, so I decided to give it a try. The experience was indeed great! There was even a swimming pool on the first floor for kids to play in, which was a pleasant surprise. The restaurant also provided meals, and they weren't expensive. I slept all day while the kids ate, drank, and played, having a great time. The rooms were clean and the service was good. I'd definitely come back if I had the chance."

MMeishimeijingmeirenThe location is fantastic, making it super convenient to get anywhere. There are plenty of local restaurants nearby, so it's easy to try different cuisines.
The hotel's design is unique, with direct river views. The butler communicated with us beforehand, and check-in was smooth. We arrived early, and our room was already prepared. The travel guide provided was detailed and thoughtful.
Coming back in the evening, I was pleasantly surprised to find freshly made strawberry cake at the ground floor cafe! It made our New Year's Eve celebration perfect.
Definitely a hotel worth revisiting.

CChristian OsterlohWe had a wonderful time at Home of Mountains. The rooms, and the hotel itself, were beautifully decorated and very clean. Every day there was a varied breakfast and a lovingly prepared afternoon tea. Coffee lovers will also be happy here; there are several special coffees to try. The staff and the owner were very attentive, friendly, and helpful. We were given tips for the surrounding attractions, so that even though the scenic area was closed one day due to bad weather, we were able to explore the area. There is a pool on the hotel grounds that you can use at any time—perfect for cooling off after a day in the mountains. The hotel is just a few minutes away from the scenic area, and even from the grounds you have a beautiful view of the surrounding mountains. We can absolutely recommend the hotel; if we come to the area again, it would definitely be our first choice. Thank you for the wonderful time!

AAndyI am pretty familiar with hotel business in China and this one is fascinating. Hardware-wise it is comparatively easy to be high quality and it is the software side amazes me. I booked a suite room and arrived late in the evening due to traffic. The check-in was smooth and we settled down quickly and found that both TV sets were not properly functional. Quickly they reacted to send a tech and then decided to switch a room for us after the tech failed to fix the problem (eventually I found a solution to fix it and it is actually because of the telecom but not their TV properties). During the stay, their problem solving capability and attitude to clients were one of the best I have ever encountered in China.
If you go to the city for a leisure, I highly recommend this and for anything you may reach their director of operations Mr. Xu Qiang. I will definitely visit them again.

XXiaolianThis Hilton Garden Inn is incredibly well-equipped. I've stayed at several, but this is the only one that comes with pots, pans, cutlery, chopsticks, a microwave, a drain rack, and even a garment steamer. The room is spacious, and the balcony overlooks the lake, offering a stunning view. Parking is convenient, and there's also an infinity pool.
The front desk needs some training. Check-in lacks even the most basic instructions, requiring a series of questions and answers. Is there breakfast? Where is it served? What are the hours? Questions left unanswered are often unnecessary.

GGuest UserTour Danxia Mountain, choosing to live in this homestay is our best choice. The location of the hotel is about 5 minutes away from the ticket check-in seat of the Elder Peak Scenic Area, which is very ideal, which greatly saves us the time to take the bus back and forth. The homestay is beautifully furnished and clean, and the room is large. We booked a room with a balcony on the 2nd floor. We can enjoy the mountains and peaks of Danxia Mountain. It is very comfortable to get up in the morning.
In addition, the hotel has a restaurant, and the breakfast is warm and delicious. We stayed here for two nights and had two dinners. In particular, we only went to Yangyuan Mountain after checking out the next day, and arranged for the high-speed rail back to Shenzhen at 7 o'clock in the evening. We specially asked the boss if he could cook us an extra meal at 4 pm. We only got on the high-speed rail when we were full, and we arranged it very quickly for us. Thank you very much. make

It is good to go hiking early in the morning. There are streams along the way. However, the hotel's catering service cannot keep up. There are many people dining in the entire hall at night, and there are also many waiters. They all seem busy, but they are busy and disorderly. It takes a long time from finding a seat to clearing the table to ordering. And all the waiters were busy but no one paid attention. The breakfast buffet on the first day was served in the hotel lobby, but on the second day it was moved to a different location, but no one informed anyone. A bunch of people were waiting in the original restaurant. Only when they called the front desk did they tell them that the breakfast had been moved to another location. Shouldn't there be advance notice? Except for the catering, everything else is good. I hope it can be improved, otherwise such a good natural environment will be wasted.

PpierzyyIt was an unexpected stay. It was originally intended to be a place to stay for one night on the way back to Shaoguan from Mangshan, and to soak in the hot springs to relieve the fatigue of climbing. The result was so good that we had to change our itinerary and stay here for another night!
The entire resort is built in the style of Bali. The rooms are clean and tidy, and the stone decoration makes people feel very refreshing. The large-scale empty restaurant and lobby, plus the artificial waterfall behind the lobby, give people a very relaxing atmosphere.
The hot spring area is simply amazing. It is built along the hillside and the guests can enter the mountain unlimited times. There are pools and amusement facilities for children to play, and there are three normal temperature swimming pools, one of which is the infinity pool at the top.
From the foot of the mountain to the top of the hillside, there are dozens of hot spring pools of different sizes, with a comfortable water temperature range of 38-43. There are many water dispensers in the hot spring area, and there is a food building in the middle, which provides free sweet potatoes, taro and drinks without limit. You can stay in it for a day as long as you want.
Going up to the infinity pool at the top, in front of us is a magnificent picture of Yangxi River Reservoir and the mountains in the distance. Especially when we encountered a short rainstorm in the infinity pool, we hid in the roofed hot spring pool next to the infinity pool. The heavy rain outside made the water surface crackle, and the mountains in the distance were looming in the rain and fog. At this moment, the Chinese landscape painting seemed to have turned from paper into reality, which was even more amazing than the scenery on a sunny day.
In addition, there are slides and swings for children to play by the river, and there is a plank road ending at a small waterfall for fun. In summer, there will be a water park. Considering the price here, the cost performance is much higher than that of the resorts in Jiangsu, Zhejiang and Shanghai. It is really a paradise for children.
The only regrettable thing is the food here. The price of the Chinese restaurant is much higher than that of the farm outside, but the taste is not much different. The food in the breakfast restaurant is simply unworthy of the name of the Guangdong and Guangxi gourmet province. It is recommended to improve.

The hotel is nestled among mountains and rivers, offering a tranquil environment, fresh air, and beautiful scenery. We stayed in the 'Girls' Castle' family room, which was clean, tidy, cozy, and adorable. The room featured a kids' slide bed and a private hot spring tub, with ample space, ensuring a comfortable and worry-free stay.
The 600-meter swimming lane leads directly to the rooms, and the water park was fully open with a wave pool, high-rise slides, and a fun water village, providing endless water-based entertainment. The resort also offered a variety of fun activities and interactive shows, including a flyboard performance, keeping both adults and children entertained.
The buffet was plentiful and delicious, with a wide array of seafood, sashimi, Chinese and Western hot dishes, desserts, and fruits – all fresh and tasty, making it hard to choose! The staff were warm, attentive, and provided excellent service. The shuttle service was convenient, making the entire stay effortless.
Overall, the value for money is outstanding. It's a one-stop destination for family fun and relaxation. I highly recommend it and will definitely visit again!

GGuest UserHiking all day was tiring, but the hotel's Yao-style bath was very relaxing. The hotel's facilities were excellent; they even provided body lotion, sewing kits, and all the disposable toiletries were of good quality, showing the hotel's attention to detail. If you're driving, I recommend coming during the day. There's a long road leading to the hotel, and during the day you can enjoy the beautiful scenery along the way.
