Excellent
GGuest UserSolo Hot Spring Retreat: The public hot springs were very quiet and comfortable, making for a truly relaxing soak.
Facilities: Excellent. They even provide disposable razors for men and disposable sewing kits.
Environment: The room was very spacious and quiet. The balcony was perfect for enjoying tea and the outdoor views.
Service: Robot delivery for takeout, plus thoughtful service from the butler.
The hotel's Xianju noodles were a generous portion for only 36 yuan (the server auntie was very kind and practical, advising me to order just enough).
The hotel breakfast was very satisfying (I loved the beef congee, fish skin congee, and the various Xianju snacks).
One regret: It rained those few days, so I couldn't visit Shenxianju. I'll definitely come back next time!
YYuyufeiThe front desk staff were warm and attentive, and even upgraded my room! The room was clean and very comfortable. The breakfast spread was excellent, especially the fried dough sticks with rice cakes – so good! I'll definitely stay at Wenling International Hotel again next time I'm in Wenling!

Outstanding
JJustin Lewis RichardsonGood location for getting taxis to main tourist attractions.
Room was spacious and very clean.
I took advantage of a Trip package, which included free buffet and a cocktail, as well as train station pickup (up to 5pm). Actually, was able to use the pickup as a departure to get me to the train station after I checked out, but that wasn't clear on the TRIP promotion details.
The buffet looked good, but I arrived at 7:30pm and most of the food was gone, so get to the buffet early. However, the team actually recognised this situation and brought me out a sizzling pork chop meal, so in the end I had a great meal.
GGuest UserWhen planning my trip to Tiantai Mountain, I searched for hotels closest to Guoqing Temple and decided on Wenquan Mountain Villa. While the hotel certainly shows its age, it's still well-maintained and efficiently operated. Due to the original architectural design, my assigned room required a bit of a walk, but I actually saw it as a good workout!
Guoqing Temple opens at 7 AM, and it's a pleasant 10-minute walk from the hotel. The early morning scenery along the path to the temple was breathtaking. After my visit, it was just right to head back to the hotel for breakfast.
In the evening, after exploring the sights, I had dinner at the hotel's Chinese restaurant. It was excellent! Even though it was a bit tricky to find and consisted entirely of private rooms, it didn't compromise the quality or taste of the food. After years of traveling, I've found that dining at the hotel often guarantees a good meal.
A dip in the hot springs in the evening was perfect for unwinding. Even in summer, the hot spring experience was fantastic! The hotel thoughtfully provided tea and snacks, which was a lovely touch. This will definitely be my first choice again when I next visit Guoqing Temple.
VvonneyThe VIP building and the main building share common areas, and the breakfast room, the building of the accommodation is separate. The rooms and corridors in Building B have a five-star look and are very comfortable.
Let me talk about the service first, basically no faults are picked out. There are staff on duty in the morning of each building. It is the New Year. The service staff have brought red scarves. The attitude is very good and will take the initiative to say hello.
The seafood noodles for breakfast must be tasted, as well as shrimp, Jiwei shrimp, very good, there are also dumplings, seaweed cakes. Breakfast is basically comprehensive.
The most pleasant surprise was that I stayed for two nights and gave a free minibar every night. Generally, the hotel gave one night. Fruits will also be added, and good night porridge will be delivered when the bed is opened at night.
In short, both the facilities and the service are great.

Very Good
AAnonymous UserPullman Taizhou Shenxianju | A perfect hotel at the foot of Shenxianju
📍 Location: Super convenient. A 10-minute walk to the Shenxianju Tourist Center to catch the shuttle bus to the scenic area. There's also an artificial lake nearby for a stroll.
🏡 Environment: Newly opened in 2028, the environment is impeccable – it's brand new with state-of-the-art facilities. The architectural style blends Jiangnan gardens with a lake-view courtyard, featuring white walls and black tiles, plus ginkgo leaf chandeliers that are incredibly photogenic. The floor-to-ceiling windows in the three mountain-view rooms offer stunning views.
🛏️ Room: Spacious and bright, with soft and comfortable bedding. Features include a separate wet and dry area, a smart toilet, and a bathtub.
🍽️ Dining: The breakfast spread is extensive, offering a full range of Taizhou specialties like Wufan (black rice), seaweed pancakes, and wheat cakes, alongside both Chinese and Western options.
👨👩👧 Family-friendly: There's a constant-temperature swimming pool, perfect for children to swim and play.
GGuest UserI booked a package through Trip.com, which essentially included one extra lunch compared to a standard booking; all other activities were available for reservation. The hotel is quite large, so finding your room can be a bit challenging if you're not good with directions. The front desk upgraded my room, and the view was fantastic. All the staff members were very polite and greeted us warmly. The photographer for the travel shoot was also very nice, and the tea ceremony instructor gave detailed guidance. The Tomahawk pork chop for lunch was huge and thick. The breakfast selection wasn't extensive, but the quality was excellent, and it was great that they had natto. There's an almost abandoned vegetable garden in the back, which resembles a Japanese hotel garden, with a winding path leading down. It could really use some tending.
GGuest UserBest choice in Yuhuan for business - I wished the restaurant to be a bit more appealing and the ayi cooking the eggs more “service oriented “
GGuaishushuxiaopangyouLocated right at the foot of Beimen Mountain, we arrived at 11 AM, and since our room wasn't ready, we headed straight to the scenic area to explore. It wasn't crowded that day, and the quieter upper and lower sections of Beimen were really pleasant. We checked in around 4:30 PM, then relaxed in the room with a bath and some TV. The room had floor-to-ceiling windows, offering partial mountain views of the scenic area. The morning sun breaking through the mountains was truly beautiful. In the evening, you can stargaze on the hotel's lawn. For improvement, I'd suggest making the breakfast more substantial; there really wasn't much choice.
GGuest UserThe decoration style of the room is consistent with the picture. I like it very much. The various facilities are beautifully arranged. The sanitation is very clean, so you can stay at ease. The B&B is located inside the scenic area. There is a parking lot at the entrance of the scenic area, and there are sightseeing buses to pick you up and drop you off. Xiao Yu at the front desk is very enthusiastic and gives people the feeling of reuniting with old friends. The whole check-in process is pleasant and reassuring. The B&B is very close to major tourist attractions. The transportation is convenient. It is recommended as the first choice for travel. I will come again next time.
