11860089****Traveling to Wuyishan during the off-season was wonderful; the autumn scenery was absolutely stunning with everything golden-hued. I specifically chose a guesthouse to better appreciate Wuyishan's natural beauty. Shuizhuang No. 8 Guesthouse is truly nestled within a park, offering distant mountain views and a close-up look at the river while you sip tea and admire the ginkgo trees right outside your door. Not only is the scenery beautiful, but the surroundings are also quiet and comfortable. It's conveniently located with great transport links, and both the dining and accommodation are excellent. The service is warm and courteous, and the staff are very prompt in providing assistance. I'd highly recommend staying here over a hotel!

After passing the archway and the bridge, don't turn right and go straight; you can take the wider road. The environment and guest room hardware are first-class, making it a perfect place for a long escape in Wuyi Mountain.

GGuest UserAlthough we were going on a whim, we still had to find a good place to stay. I read a lot of reviews of hotels and B&Bs, especially the negative ones, and ultimately chose this B&B. I was a little nervous at first, as cleanliness is a major concern for B&Bs. But upon arrival, I realized there was nothing to worry about. The B&B was spotless. The couple who ran it were incredibly welcoming and even booked our sightseeing bus, bamboo rafting, and tickets for the Impression Dahongpao tour before we arrived.
The B&B has a beautiful setting, with a swimming pool, swings, a pavilion, small fish, and beautiful trees and lights. It's truly stunning.
We explored the scenic area in the morning and then went to the pool after naps in the afternoon. The kids loved it. We went to the pool four times in our three-night stay and thoroughly enjoyed our stay.
The room was large and exactly like the pictures, so I didn't take any more photos.
The B&B is located in a quiet villa area. Didi was very convenient, and takeout was also fast. Strolling around the villa area that evening, I realized this villa was probably the most beautiful, and it also had a swimming pool. There's also a restaurant in the villa area, and the hostess arranged to buy groceries and cook them in advance. The food was also very child-friendly!
If I go to Wuyishan again, I'll definitely stay here! Will recommend to friends.

GGuest UserThis hotel was chosen after a long search on Ctrip, and to my surprise, it exceeded all expectations. It's definitely a place I'd revisit.
The hotel's food is very clean. In the morning, you can get freshly cooked noodles or rice vermicelli with fresh toppings, which already puts it head and shoulders above many guesthouses and hotels. Eating a hot bowl of noodles in the morning is truly comforting.
In terms of facilities, I didn't even get to mention the gym, swimming pool, and laundry room – they have everything! The laundry room is very clean. If you can't pick up your clothes on time, the staff will even fold them for you and place them in a nearby storage cabinet.
The hotel room was spotless and the soundproofing was excellent; I slept soundly until morning. The view was also fantastic, with a direct sightline to Dawang Peak.
After breakfast, my family and I took a stroll around the hotel grounds. The air was fresh, and there's a koi pond in the courtyard where you can feed the fish. It's perfect for a vacation with elderly family members and children. The service is truly thoughtful.

While it's a bit of a distance from Sangu Resort, the hotel has excellent facilities that cater to all ages for dining and entertainment. Our guest manager, Joan, was incredibly responsible and thoughtful; she confirmed our itinerary and arranged airport pickup well before our arrival. Upon check-in, she even upgraded our room type, making our elders' stay more comfortable. She also meticulously arranged our meals and afternoon tea around our schedule, which truly put our minds at ease during our trip. The only downside was the hotel pool's temperature, which was only 26 degrees Celsius, making it a bit too cold for kids to swim in.

GGuest UserHaving visited Wuyishan four times, this is by far the most satisfying hotel I've stayed at. It's a new hotel, and everything from the room amenities and cleanliness to the toiletries was superb. Our room on the 3rd floor directly faced the mountains, offering fantastic views. It was lovely to wake up, sit on the balcony, and enjoy tea while taking in the scenery. The hotel also has a large swimming pool, which is perfect for families with children. The lady at the front desk provided warm and enthusiastic service. This is my absolute favorite hotel in Wuyishan!

DDerryckWe brought our family to stay and the welcome by the hotel staff was very warm and inviting. They helped with restaurant recommendations and booking tickets. The room was spacious, clean and very comfortable. The breakfast caters to both local and foreign tastes. Due to regular buses it was extremely easy to get to downtown or the park entrance. When we stayed the buses were free. We had an early departure and the hotel packed breakfast and helped arrange a car to take us back to the train station. Wouldn’t hesitate to book this hotel again.

Nestled in the National Tourist Resort, the hotel boasts elegant architecture and a stunning garden with beautiful scenery at every turn, lush greenery, and a tranquil atmosphere – truly a garden hotel hidden amidst the mountains and rivers. The rooms are decorated in a modern minimalist style, with excellent smart facilities and impeccable cleanliness. The bathroom has a separate wet and dry area, and the hot water is consistently good, making a relaxing bath after a long day incredibly soothing. The service throughout our stay was incredibly warm and attentive. Even with our late-night arrival, the air conditioning was already on, and a dedicated staff member guided us to our room. Any request was met promptly, truly a thoughtful concierge-style service. The dining options are also commendable. The breakfast buffet offers a rich variety of both Western and Chinese dishes, with fresh and authentic local specialties. The Chinese restaurant serves exquisite dishes with mountain views. The facilities are top-notch, including a fitness center, outdoor swimming pool, and a kids' club. There's even an EV charging station and free parking, making it suitable for both business and family travelers. The location is superb, within walking distance of the Ancient Song Street and a convenient taxi ride to all major scenic spots. It's a peaceful retreat while still being close to the action, offering exceptional value for money. I highly recommend it to anyone visiting Wuyishan!

You can see the beautiful garden view as soon as you enter. The room hygiene is also very good. It is spacious and bright, and each room has a good window view. If you have time, you can also go to the public area to have tea and chat with the boss and the boss's wife. The couple are very enthusiastic and talkative!
Sangu District is not big. It is very convenient to take a taxi to Wuyishan Scenic Area or nearby Internet celebrity restaurants. The cost is only six or seven yuan. Food recommendations include Wufu Chenzhao, Langu Mother-in-law, Cuiyan, Friendship Stir-fry, etc.!

GGuest UserFantastic location and hotel experience! We enjoyed a nice view of Dawang Peak from the balcony of our room while staying there. The staff were extremely friendly and helpful to us. The front desk helped us buy our tickets for the Dahongpao show as well as our passes for the National Park. It was our first time in Wuyishan, and it was the best possible stay experience we could have asked for!
