홍또여Overall, this was a satisfying 5-star resort, with the exception of its location.
The staff were incredibly friendly, and the security was excellent, making for a comfortable and safe stay within the resort. There were also various activities offered by the resort, so there was plenty to enjoy without even having to leave.
Most notably, the swimming pool is absolutely beautiful. It was even more stunning in person than in photos, and I'd be willing to return just for the pool alone.
The only slight disappointment was breakfast. While the bread and fruit were good, the overall food selection was less than expected. I had the pho for three days, and the taste varied each day, which felt inconsistent.
Additionally, the location is a bit secluded, so many massage parlors and restaurants don't offer pick-up/drop-off services. Most of the time, I had to rely on taxis, which made getting around a bit inconvenient.
However, the resort's facilities and services were so excellent that I highly recommend it to anyone looking for a relaxing, resort-focused vacation. Conversely, for those planning daily excursions for sightseeing or food tours, the location might be somewhat inconvenient.
Even if I visit Cebu again, I was so satisfied with this resort that I would book it again just for the swimming pool.

Guest UserI stayed at Bluewater Maribago during my trip to Cebu! From the moment I arrived, I felt the resort vibe instantly, thanks to the hotel's expansive grounds and abundant greenery 🌴✨.
The staff were all incredibly kind and their smiling service left a lasting impression. The room was clean, and with multiple pools, there's plenty to enjoy within the hotel itself.
I particularly enjoyed relaxing at the private beach and the pools. The location was also convenient, with supermarkets and restaurants nearby, making it easy to venture outside the hotel.
While the hotel restaurants felt a bit pricey, they offered a good variety of dishes, making them a nice option for enjoying a leisurely meal at the resort.
Overall, the staff's service was excellent, and it was a hotel where I could truly relax in a tropical atmosphere 😊.

I had a hot, uncomfortable disappointed, and we were in utter shocked that the room I booked was not in their system. As I was rebooking, it was not the same as the first booking then blacked out occured. During the blacked out the my booking end up with only a bed in dorm style quarters, public bathroom and no privacy.
My first booking was a package trip from Cebu to Manila which still in a wrong date. The actual date for the flight was to be on August 19 @ 9:50 but the three agent that I spoke to on the 18th got my hotel canceled and only provided me a rebooked solution. Sure, I can rebooked, thank so much for making my simple trip into **************** with my family, along withy impatient high functioning autism, 24 years old son who doesn't like his iPad to be low battery and no wifi.
To remind you that the black out still happening, so during my aunty and son lunch the black still going. I have no idea what kind of menu and price for food and drinks. As I saw the server put the first plate of food, I was shocked to see the mountain square shape nacho cheese beyond understanding. My aunty is only 90 to 100 pounds. She doesn't speak English and doesn't understand what she ordered, so she asked question about salad and a slice of pizza. But that not what the server brought, he came out again carrying nacho cheese, same size as the first nacho cheese/beef, except the second is chicken then a whole large Canadian bacon pizza. I couldn't believe the amount of food that was ordered then a Red Bull for my autistic son? My aunty was repeatedly saying that she only want salad and a slice pizza then water. What she really wanted the cook and server wanted to do is take away all the food back including the Red Bull. Oh, one more set of food, two big pieces of Burrito. The hotel is still in black out and stuffy hot and dark.
The staff are not good listener. My son started eating and drinking the Red Bull, when I saw him, I told the staff that Red Bull straight might kill him of a heart attack. I also mentioned that my son doesn't know self control when it comes to food which is called glutenny . He already pass his regular weight. I heard my aunty said that my son ordered all the food; she had no idea what he was ordering.
Meanwhile the black out still continuing till around 5:30 pm, every building around the area has their electricity back on but not the Papabo. Our booking still in process. The manager charged me for the lunch even though the mistake was the their service, taking order from an autistic person instead of asking his parents. The manager decided to booked us in the one room that has two bunk bed, private bathroom and has windows cause still black out. The room is stuffy and hot, it's on the fourth floor, no elevator and dark to go up the stairs. We decided to lock up our things in the room cause still black out.
My aunty over heard that the electricity bill was not paid. So as soon as I got down. The manager charged me 1500 pesos cash plus 1200 pesos for lunch that I only got to eat two slices of pizza and a couple of bite of nacho beef. I didn't get to have the burritos. The Papabo manager quickly went to pay for their electricity bill after she spoke to the owner.
My aunty and me went to the beach. I for sure locked the bedroom and still no electriçity. My son went to 7/11 to charge the iPad. We got back at the hotel at 8:30 or so and the electricity was on and my son also in the in the hotel. Do recognized that the hotel keys was an actual key, and I only have the key with. In my surprised our bedroom door was wide open, our things are scattered on the chair and table. Now, just today at this time, I'm still looking for my necklace that has my Mom piece of earing, my oldest son alligator tooth pendant and my initial pendant A.
I'll call the hotel when I finished looking at our things here.Yap, my necklace is missing.

바다에 간 토끼My boyfriend and I, Koreans, stayed here for two nights!
When we first arrived at the lobby and checked in, they helped us with our luggage, offered welcome drinks, and mentioned a 3,000 peso deposit.
It's an old building, so it's a bit dated, but it's a beautiful hotel with an antique and tranquil atmosphere. The location might be difficult to reach on foot if you don't use a Grab taxi. However, because it's a bit secluded, it's great for a quiet, relaxing getaway. The private beach and pool were conveniently close, and there were several paid activities available at the sea. I booked a boating tour, and from morning to afternoon (you can buy a packed lunch from the hotel or choose a service that includes a meal), we went by boat to snorkeling spots to swim and play.
The downsides were that the room lacked bathrobes, room slippers, and body wash. The air conditioner was old, so it was noisy, and there was an unavoidable musty smell. Also, Grab delivery wasn't available, so we had to eat food we bought from convenience stores!
The advantages are the hotel's private and quiet location, plus the excellent staff service. There were only two designated smoking areas, which created a clean environment without indiscriminate smoking, which I appreciated. They provided beach towels when using the pool, which was very helpful.
While the hotel breakfast wasn't as varied as I expected, it was enough to start the day feeling full. It wasn't luxurious, but it had all the basics: noodles, bread, fruit, meat, soup, etc. The kimchi was a bit shocking – it was cabbage mixed with gochujang, which was truly surprising.
Facilities include a gym, an internal bar, and more.
Even though the room condition wasn't perfectly ideal, it was a hotel where the facilities were worth using, taking that into account.

The service, honestly, what can I say.
I scanned the QR code given by the front desk from my room and ordered two drinks via the official website's chat. It showed 'read' but there was no reply. After half an hour with no response, I called the front desk to inquire and ordered again. They said they'd call me when it was ready. Little did I know, the hotel phone just wouldn't connect; it would ring once and then disconnect. Ordering a drink ended up being a two-hour ordeal!
The facilities are decent; there's a swimming pool and a beach. However, the room windows don't open.
Breakfast was okay too.
One thing to note: if you plan to take a taxi to the city center and want to use the hotel's shuttle, it's best to confirm the time with them, as it only runs once a day. If you try to get a Grab yourself, it can take ages sometimes. And if you ask the guy at the entrance to hail a taxi for you, they'll start at 1000 pesos.

へるしゃふと@旅行マニア✈️I've stayed here before and it became my favorite hotel, so I booked it again. The biggest draw of this hotel is undoubtedly the high-value resort experience it offers. This time, we booked the top-tier suite (triple room) for three people, and it was incredibly affordable at around 10,000 yen per person. The room was well-equipped, even having two toilets. Waking up in the morning and opening the window revealed a stunning view of the pool and blue sky, and breakfast allowed us to enjoy a resort-like meal while gazing at the beach and pool.
If I had to pick a point for improvement, the slippers were reusable instead of disposable. It would be even better if disposable ones were provided. Other than that, it's a five-star hotel with absolutely no complaints.

Alessia MartinoI loved my stay here and I felt my studio room was very specious. The bed was very comfortable and the room had all the amenities and toiletries needed. Rooms cleaned daily.
The hotel also has a nice and reasonably priced café, a small swimming pool for relaxing and a gym. There are spas, restaurants and a mall just in walking distance.
Staff was nice and arranged a free ride for me to the airport at the end of my stay.

Юлия КорытцынаI arrived at night and initially wasn't sure how to check in, as it's a contactless entry, but the instructions were sent via email. It was my first time staying in an apartment. The room was clean, and everything I needed was there, including a washing machine and toiletries. I really loved the location. The beach is just a 7-minute walk away. Across the street, there's a 7-Eleven, and shops, currency exchange, and ATMs are in the building next door. I'll definitely stay here again on my way back. There's also a pool, fitness center, and a walking area on the 4th floor.

Anonymous UserThe room is just fine. It's a budget hotel.
the shower head didn't work properly, no hot water.
And they always close the gates, even when it's not late yet, so you need to wait it to be open every time you go out somewhere.
There is a small pool outside though.

Guest UserIt was confusing, we didn't know how to check in because the check in area is at the 5th floor and it looks like just another guest room. I woke up another guest who was sleeping with her little baby. I felt bad. That wouldn't have happened, if only the check in and out process was at the lobby. The location is very convenient though. You can walk to multiple stores, places to eat, pharmacy, and also a money changer. It's pretty safe for tourist here. There's also a university or maybe it was a college nearby. The building is not labeled also, so our driver(s) circled this area 4 or 5 times. Always confused as to where to get us.
