At 10:30 PM, the hot water pipe on the 20th floor burst. The hallway carpet was soaked, and the water quickly spread into our room. By 11 PM, our entire family was evacuated to the 8th-floor lobby. We had to walk barefoot through hot water to get downstairs, terrified of being electrocuted. There was no explanation or comfort offered. After much prodding, we finally got back to our room past midnight, only to be met with the deafening noise of a water extractor, making sleep impossible, especially for the kids. It finally quieted down after 1 AM, but then, at 8 AM, we were all woken up by the loud roar of machines again – yes, the carpet blowers had started. We got less than 6 hours of sleep all night, with no explanation or proactive apology. It felt like they just wanted to clean up the mess quickly to sell the room to the next guest. Our request for a late check-out to get some more rest was denied (though even if they had agreed, resting would have been impossible due to the noise). Haha. The hotel's location is decent, but as for other services... well, true colors show in a crisis. Avoid this place. P.S. Trip.com's service, however, was excellent – patient, thoughtful, and they even offered extra compensation. A perfect 100 points for Trip.com!
