The location is good ,right at the pass going up to mountain top. But the building is old and service is basic. Noice from the street vendors is non stop whole night. Not the best experience for such hotel charge.

The location on Trip.com is wrong. It is actually at the split when you are at the square. It's hard to see the entrance because the entrance is at a higher level. Look for the Red Cross sign. For the shared rooms, there is only a common bathroom with a few toilets/urinals, no shower. Upper or lower bunk is on a first come first served basis. There is 1 kettle and 2 cups for 12 pax. There's a group guide to the viewing area. It's near the meteorological station. The room faces the road it was noisy the whole night and morning. Check-in was effecient and polite.

Very good front desk, good kitchen staffs. For sunrise viewing, good organization. We all gets morning calls, and as a group, walk together to view sunrise. Highly recommend. Take credit cards for restaurant meals, too.

The hotel is fine given that it is located on top of a mountain but the sound proofing is awful. Since people are waking up very early (breakfast sit a 4'30 and the sunrise is at 5'45), if you skip breakfast you will be awoken at 4am anyway.

The location of the hotel is very good.Especially suitable for Taishan to watch the sunrise.There is a buffet for breakfast.But there is nothing to eat.On the whole, don't be too demanding.Just get some sleep.

It exceeded my expectations. I thought the sanitation on the top of the mountain would be poor, but it wasn't. The bathroom was clean, and the bed was quite clean. The double room with a 1.2m bed was perfectly adequate for two women to sleep in for the night, and it wasn't even crowded. There was no water in the room, so you had to bring your own. I forgot to take photos of the hotel. It's very close to Tianjie, and we would wake up in the morning to watch the sunrise together. It's quite good, right on Tianjie, at the top of the mountain. The price and environment are quite good. Climb to the top of the mountain and sleep for a night. I was woken up at 4 o'clock the next day to walk the trail to watch the sunrise. I can also take a nap after watching it.

We started hiking with our two children at 2 p.m. and reached Lantianmen at 8 p.m. It was incredibly challenging, especially for my youngest son, who wasn't even 8 yet. It took a while, but we finally made it. Luckily, the room we'd booked in advance wasn't available. A standard hotel room with a 18-foot bed, a private bathroom, and hot water was fantastic. Having such accommodations on the mountain was especially wonderful at 3:30 a.m., when we saw people sleeping from the hotel entrance to the Tianjie area, it was such a blessing! I immediately gave my two children a good lesson. It's a shame we didn't see the sunrise; perhaps a little regret is the key to perfection...

I hadn't had high hopes for a room up the mountain, thinking it would just be a place to sleep for a few hours. But upon arrival, I was pleasantly surprised! It was clean and tidy, with excellent air conditioning and showers. The front desk and security were both very nice, waking us up early to take us to see the sunrise. I was so exhausted from the entire climb that I didn't take any photos; I just looked at the promotional photos and those of other guests.
